Lionpaw was about to go hunt with Leopardclaw, Cloudheart, and Wolfpaw when Froststar said,"Can you take Littlekit back to Windclan for me?" Littlekit was playing mossball with Tigerkit. "Sure." Leopardclaw answered. "Littlekit!" Froststar called. Littlekit ran to him and said,"Yes?" "It's time you go back to Windclan. Go with Leopardclaw, Cloudheart, Lionpaw, and Wolfpaw." Froststar told him. Littlekit padded over to the patrol. Then they headed off into the woods. "What's it like being an apprentice?" Littlekit asked Lionpaw. "It's a mix of fun and work." She replied as they walked. "How long have you been an apprentice?" Littlekit asked. "Since a few days ago." Lionpaw answered. "I can't wait until I'm an apprentice." Littlekit said. "Just make sure to enjoy being a kit." "Ok." He replied. The patrol soon reached the windclan border. They continued on until they reached the windclan camp. "What are you doing here?" Hawkclaw the deputy hissed at them. "We were escorting Littlekit. He ran off and turned up in our territory." Leopardclaw explained. "Littlekit? Is that you?" His mother Talltail asked then padded up to him. "Yes mommy!" Littlekit mewed then snuggled next to her. "Thankyou for returning Littlekit to me." Talltail thanked the patrol. "No problem. It says in the warrior code to help any kit in need." Cloudheart said. The patrol then turned around and made their way back to Thunderclan.
