I knew where my mother was now. I put the paper down and then turned around.
My dad was staring at me from behind. He got full of anger that he punched me in the face. He took off his clothes and he took Kaytie with him. I felt helpless because I couldn't help her. I got the house phone and dialed 911. I told the police the address and told him to hurry up and come. Shortly in about 10 mins. the police showed up and came inside with out knocking I told him to help my sister. He went inside and my dad kept yelling and then I heard a glass breaking sound.
I went inside and my dad was beating the police up with the bottle I grabbed my sister and ran out of the room and grabbed her clothes that was on the floor. She was crying so much that it made me want to cry along with her, but I had to act brave for her. My father started yelling, "Come back hear you ignorant child!"
I ran faster out in the streets with Kaytie in my arms. I ran into some woods. For sure I had lost my father and that's how I ended up at the place I was standing. I put Kaytie down and held her hand.
I saw a cabin. The lights were on. I thought maybe this was a chance I could take to go see if there were any nice people. I walked up to the cabin. A girl about the age of eight walked up to the window and opened the door "Mama! Mama! We have visitors!
