I was so scared that I just wanted to kill myself but I knew I had to stay brave for Kaytie and Avery.

If I left right now with Kaytie and Avery where was I going to go? Where was I going to stay to keep them safe? A thought came into my mind, what if I went in the basement? But how was I suppose to do that, when obviously he knew that I had taken Kylee's body into the basement. I dont think I would be able to be see Kylee's dead body on the ground everyday until the old guy was dead. I was so confuesd and what would I be able to do? I was just a 14 year old so what was I supposed to do that could help out for the kids and I. There wasn't much I could think of. I put my hand against my forehead and began to think. I looked over at Avery and Kaytie watching t.v and Kaytie was the only one laughing, I guess Avery was still upset about Kylee. I started thinking, would this all effect Avery in the future?

I got more tired and weaker just thinking about it. I was quickly falling asleep...but then I heard a knock on the door.

I got up in fear of opening the door. The last 4 hours ago,I received a threatening note, I started wondering what was going to happen now.

I got up in fear and slowly opened the door. If only there was a small eye hole on the door so that I could've seen what was awaiting in front. I opened the door. I gasped, in horror. There was an arm on the welcome mat and there was blood all over the mat. Tears started rolling off my face and then I started staring out into the plain grass and there was nothing. I realized there was a trail of blood from the arm. I followed it and it led me all the way to the basement where the grass was hidden. I opened the window and bent down. Kylee was on the floor with her hand torn off/or maybe cut off. The first question I asked myself was..How did someone get Kylee's body and cut off her arm? Because the arm found on the mat was certainly Kylee's.

I was smaller than the neighbor and apparently he fit through the basement window or else, who could it have of been? I almost forgot about the door that I left open so I went around the cabin and hopped over the arm. Now what was I going to do with the arm? I had no idea that passed through my mind, it was totally blank. All I knew was that I had to keep Kaytie and Avery safe. I had no other choice but take them to where Kaytie and I both came from. I called Kaytie and Avery in to the living room. Kaytie came skipping and Avery a bit sad.

"So I was thinking maybe we could all go to the city", I said trying to sound hopeful as possible.

"Ok", Avery frowned as she spoke.

Kaytie was the only happiest and joyful one about the idea.

I grabbed 2 coats from Avery's small wardrobe and put one on Avery and Kaytie. Kaytie looked so adorable when she put on the jacket and it was so loose on her. I grabbed their shoes and put them on them. Finally I grabbed my shoes and jacket and put it on. I grabbed the cabin keys and put it in my pocket. We stepped outside and I locked the door. It was starting to get a bit dark but we still walked. I thought it would be a good idea if we started running at a point, so we did. We got to a street that was recognizable. My house street.

I started asking myself if I should go in?
