Alexa's POV At the Base It's still pretty early in the morning and us rangers were all getting ready for the day ahead of us, that is until Kendall's voice echoed in the base. I rubbed my sleepy eyes, still trying to wake up fully. I walked towards my door, after slipping on some shoes to head to the main area of the base, not caring that I was still in my pajamas. The others also looked liked they had just woken up, expect Riley, who was already in his workout clothes. He probably is going head off to get his morning workout in. We all glanced at each other, confused on why Kendall was calling for our attention so early in the morning. We all flooded into the main area of the base and saw Kendall, who was ready for the day ahead of her. "What's up?" I asked. "It seems a little too early for Sledge to be creating chaos." I commented as we all gathered around her. The others grumbled in agreement. Koda walked out of his cave and yawned, which caused a round of yawns to go around all of us. Koda smiled at us sheepishly, slightly apologizing for yawning.
"I agree, it is pretty early but this isn't about Sledge." Kendall answered. "Alex gave birth to her's and Philip's daughter late last night." She said, telling us the news. It took a second for us to process the new information but soon we were all grinning.
"Wait really?" Tyler asked and Kendall nodded, smiling.
"Yeah, Philip just sent me a picture of them all." Kendall replied, and pulled up the picture on her laptop, then transferred it to the holographic screen so we all could see the picture easily. The picture was of Philip and Alex, who was laying in a hospital bed, with a small little baby in Alex's arm, the couple smiling from ear to ear.
"Awww, she's adorable." Shelby cooed at the sight of the little royal baby in the picture.
"What's her name?" Chase asked.
"Lily." Kendall answered his question. We all gathered closer to each other so we could record a congratulatory message to both of them, none of caring that we were still in our pajamas. Once we were done recording the message to the couple, Kendall sent it to Philip and the rest of us retreated back to our own rooms to get ready for our day that started off with a great start with the great news.
*Time Skip* Later in the Day The boys, minus Tyler, and Kendall had left a little while ago to try and find a hero to bond with the purple energem. Keeper informed us that an unbonded energem could be dangerous if Sledge gets his hands on it. Shelby, Tyler and I were covering the rest of our shift at the cafe and got ready for our group picnic that we were having later today as a reward to all of us to relax a little from all the hard work we've been putting in. I was placing the last of the our snacks in the picnic basket when Shelby walked into the kitchen, gently bumping her shoulder against mine. I shot her a smile as she placed a picnic blanket in the basket. "So... have you and Tyler gone on your first date?" Shelby asked me. I felt my cheeks heat a bit.
