Alexa's POV
We soon arrived at the park and walked through the park, trying to find the perfect place to get set up. We walked past ducks swimming in the pond and found the perfect spot by a picnic table, not too far from the pond. I set the picnic basket down on top of the picnic table and Tyler started getting set up for the bubbles. I sat on top of the picnic table as I watched Tyler.

"Are you sure that this is gonna work?" I asked Tyler. "Do bubbles this big even work?" Tyler just shushed me.

"They'll work. Come on, give it a try." He encouraged me and I nodded and hopped off of the picnic table. Tyler handed me the homemade bubble wand. I dipped it down into the soapy solution and followed Tyler's instructions. "Okay, now take it out slowly." I did as I was told. "Good, just take your time." Tyler started but the bubble popped just as I pulled it out. "Go ahead and try again." I tried again to make a big bubble, biting my bottom lip in concentration. But the bubble popped again and I groaned softly. "That one was really close."

"Bubbles this big never work." I whined and Tyler chuckled at me.

"Here, let me give a go." Tyler told me, gently pulling the bubble wand from my hands and he quickly pressed a kiss on my cheek, catching me by surprise. My cheeks heated up to a blush as I watched Tyler. "Dad taught me how to do it." Tyler said, staying on topic while he smiled at my red cheeks. He dipped the bubble wand into the bubble solution and lifted it out slowly. He walked slowly away from me, the soft wind getting caught in the bubble, causing the big bubble to inflate. My eyes widened as I looked at the bubbles that floated towards me. I moved out of the way from the first one, to keep the bubble from popping on my face.

"They're so pretty." I commented in awe. I ducked down to avoid another bubble, except it popped just as it got close enough to me. "Ow, ow, ow!" My eyes started to burn from the soap that got in my eyes.

"Sorry!" I heard Tyler apologize and I felt his hand guide me back to the picnic table as he sat me down. "Tilt your head back a bit, I'm just gonna pour a little bit of water on your eyes. It'll help to flush out the soap." He told me. I tilted my head back and water was quickly sprayed on my face, catching me by surprise. "My bad! Are you okay?" Tyler asked.

"Could've be worse." I commented and wiped the water off of my face, my eyes started to water a bit while the soap started to flush out. I spent a few minutes using a damp towel (a towel I found in the picnic basket) to try and clean the soap off of my face and out of my eyes. Meanwhile, Tyler set up the picnic on the grass. I blinked hard a couple times after my eyes stopped stinging. "I think I got all of the soap out." I said and sat down on the picnic blanket with Tyler.

"Sorry again." Tyler apologized again.

"Ty, it's not your fault." I reassured him. "How about we eat?" I suggested. Tyler grinned and nodded.

"Great, I'm starving." Tyler commented and I handed him a sandwhich. "Looks good, did you make this?" Tyler asked. I smiled and shook my head.

"Nope, Shelby beat me to it this morning." I started to explain. "Mostly cause I was helping out during the breakfast rush."

"Oh yeah, it did get pretty crazy this morning." Tyler said, remembering how extremely busy it got this morning. Tyler took a bite out of the sandwich and I grabbed a cupcake after I pulled the lid off of the container. I notice something moving around on my cupcake and I suddenly realized what they were.

"Ants!" I exclaimed, warning Tyler. Tyler glanced at me then looked down at his sandwich before spitting out the bite he took. I felt something crawling around on my legs and I looked down to see that the ants were everywhere. "They're everywhere!" We both stood up off of the blanket and stepped off of it to attempt to wipe the ants off of our bodies.
