It's been almost a year since I could remember meeting the two blonde brothers. I remember seeing them playing poker under the bright light shining down on the board for the first time, the light reflecting off their glasses and the slight smirks on both of their faces. I remember like it was yesterday though I know it was long past that day, yet for some odd reason the two of them stay here. The Canadian has moved on to see new sights in the city though but he visits often. On the other hand, Alfred, he has now permanently moved into my home with me and the bobby have given up on looking for him. The loud, obnoxious, American man hasn't been a thief or prisoner in almost a year. Though all these things have happened Francis is still upset about Matthew. He complains about the two men constantly saying they're going to get me out of business or something wrong will happen, obviously I don't listen. Everything is fine and there are no issues whatsoever, yet there he goes on, complaining about them.
I sit at the table in boredom as Francis continues to complain, "and I bet when you aren't looking they're going to go and steal all of your money. Don't you think that's possible? Oui, it's very possible, mon amie. Don't you understand that-"
"I think you're just upset that Matthew is with another man and not you, old chap." I cut him off. He sits up straight and blushes before laughing, I could hear the nervousness in his laugh.
"Non! That's not it at all, mom amie." I raise my eyebrows at him, "I'm sure you're getting the wrong idea, now let's go to work, shall we?" He gets up after changing the subject and walks to the casino area.
