The summer breeze was chilling but lovely for a wedding day. My wedding day. Our wedding day. Everything was perfect so far, I was nervous though, very. What if it all goes to rubbish? What if my guy of a family shows up? Alfred did force me to invite them... I just hope they don't come, I don't enjoy their company at all.
I have four siblings, all older than me. A red haired Scotsman, twin leprechaun twats, and the oldest son who is actually my favourite, he's from Wales. Those bloody gits got so mad at me for getting ownership of the casino then all started having drinking problems, I swear those bloody men. Lucky the girl in the family didn't turn out so badly, and I know she would never show to my wedding. I really don't want them here, I never want to see them ever again.
"Artie farty! Are you ready to go!" I hear Alfred yell from the car.
"I'll be right out!" I call to him. We didn't go with the typical idea of a wedding where you can't see the bride before the wedding. We wanted to spend one last night together before the elopement.
Francis seemed more excited about the wedding than us, he was pronounced as our maid of honour, he basically planned our whole wedding himself. I swear he's such a woman sometimes, I find it quite interesting and adorable though. Francis was already waiting for us at the garden, where we decided to elope, preparing all the last things like flowers and such. I hope it is beautiful, I know it will be beautiful.
We were now at the wedding, people were sitting and talking, waiting for us to start. I was shaking, nervous out of my mind. I start to hear music play and the chatter stops. It was time. The wedding was officially starting. My heart was racing. Alfred was getting his last touch ups in another room. I was sweating, oh god, I haven't been this nervous before. I can't back down now, I won't. I love him, I want him to be mine. All I need to say is my vows and I do.
I was now standing at the end of the isle, under the arch way. My heart was still racing, I was playing with my thumbs nervously. I was tapping my foot and look around at the people sitting, I watched as one by one the groomsmen and bridesmaids stood on either side of me.
It was now time, Alfred was a bout to walk down that isle, in a beautiful white suit, arm and arm with his brother. The music changed to the classical wedding song and I took a deep breath.
