~Lizzie's POV~

"Lets go!" Kninea howled. We started running through the woods. We were heading towards our pack lines. We ran straight through the territory lines and started for the pack house. Our territory is a little larger than Texas. If we ran non stop we would reach the pack house in about a week. With stops every four hours, two weeks and stops every two hours, a month.

'How long will we be running?' Frost asked Kninea.

'Four hours. We will reach the pack house in two weeks.' Kninea said in reply.

'Two weeks. How big is your territory.' Austin gaped.

'Just a little bigger than Texas.' I said in return.

"How much longer........." Ryley trailed off.

"Kninea and three hours and fifteen minutes if you shut up." Kninea replied.

~Jessie's POV~

We were ten minutes away from the pack house. We were resting by Black Shadow River. I still remember the day before I got shipped out. I shook my head and got up. In seconds I was tackled to the ground. I kicked them off of me and looked up to see a familiar blonde wolf. He lunged at me but I quickly dodged him.

"STAND DOWN!!!" I barked power dripping from my voice. All the wolves immediately shrunk back.

"Alpha?" the blonde wolf asked.

"No, beta" I corrected.

"Wait!?!? Kninea???" he asked.

"Yes, now why did you attack me?" I snapped.

"Yeah, why did you attack us." Lizzie asked.

"Alpha! Um........ we..... um......." He stuttered.

"Get on with it and stop stuttering pup." Austin barked. The wolf glared at him.

"We thought you were intruders. All of your scents have changed." He said.

"Ok, Max count how many of us there are." Chloe said.

"Six" he replied.

"How many are male" she continued.

"Three........... oh" he said.

"There you go." She said in a good-boy tone. I shook my head and shifted. Lately when I have been shifting I have had clothes on. I don't know how either. I had on a pair of jean shorts, black flats, and a black tank top. My hair was down. Everyone else went behind trees and shifted. Max came back out and looked at me. He was wearing a black tank top and some basketball shorts. He smiled. I went up and hugged him.

"Hey Max" I said. He hugged back lingering for a little while. I missed his hugs. His and Austin's weren't the same. His were soft and gentle while Austin's were rough and demanding. I sighed and stayed in his arms, his scent taking over my nose. He had his hands around my waist while mine were around his neck and my head was resting on his shoulder. His chin was resting on my head. I closed my eyes enjoying the moment while it lasted. A growl erupted through the woods.

'You're in trouble.' Kninea said.

'Shut up' I snapped. I let go of Max and went over to Austin. He firmly wrapped his arms around my waist. I leaned up and kissed him softly. He responded with hunger and desperation. I turned in his arms and faced Max.

"Max you have met Austin." He nodded. "Lizzie come here." I continued she walked up with Ryley.

"Max this is Lizzie's mate Ryley. Ryley this is Max." I said introducing them. They shook hands. "Chloe come here." She came forward with Chance. "Max this is Chloe's mate Chance. Chance this is-"
