Chapter 9: Lizzie Takes Jessie Away

~Lizzies POV~

Jessie and Nate left. They went for a run. I figured that he wouldn't hurt her. They did date at one time.

"Where in the hell is Jessie!!!" Max snarled at me. He didn't know that we were going to the same school as Nate.

"She went for a run." I said. He may smell Nate on me. Shit!! What if he does? No he won't. Ryley's scent is to strong.

"With who. I know she doesn't like to run alone." He said. He is sooooo wrong.

"After going through that training of sorts, Max, she prefers to run alone." I said. What it's the truth.

"Who the hell did she go with!!" he snarled. Falcon was getting mad at me.

"Nate." I said and just then, Nate had to walk through the door with an unconscious Jessie in his arms. Max snarled.

"What the hell did you do to my mate!!!!" he snapped.

"Your mate. She is my mate!!!!" Nate snapped back. Why in the hell did Jessie's second chance mate have to be him!!!! Dammit!!

"STOP!!" I screamed lacing my voice with alpha power. They both snapped their heads towards me.

"We will deal with this later. Now give her to me." I said.

'Chloe come here!!' I snapped into the mind link. She was with me and Jessie in seconds.

"Please let me explain." Nate asked.

"Ok explain Na- WAIT!! When the fuck did you get here?!?!?" Chloe said.

"I will explain later. Right now, Nate explain." I said.

"Well we ran into each other and decided to go for a run. When we were running she ran into a tree. She tried to move but she was bleeding really bad from that fucking cut." He started. All that was left from the cut was a scar. They really are mates.

"I asked her why she ran into the tree and she said that Kninea, who ever that is, said that we were and then she fainted." Nate finished.

"First off Kninea is Jessie's wolf. Second Nate what is your wolves name?" I asked. It is proper when addressing someone's wolf to use their wolves name.

"His name is Luther, why do you need to know?" he asked.

"Now when you saw Jessie again what was Luther telling you?" I asked. His eyes went from blue to teal.

"Hello Luther." I said.

"Hello Alpha." With that one word Suki decided to say hey.

"Who is Jessie to you Luther?" she questioned. He glanced down at Jessie and his expression went from blank to loving. He looked back at me and his expression was blank again.

"She is the live of my life, she is my one and only, she is my mate." He said. With every word I heard a growl come from Max.

"Okay we need to get her to the pack doctor! NOW!!" Chloe said picking Jessie up.

"Why what's wrong with her?" Max and Nate asked at the same time.

"She is going into a coma!" Chloe said and ran to the car. I mind linked Ryley and Chance. They came out and we left.

We got to the pack house and Max took Jessie to the pack doctor.

"Nate come with me!" Chloe said following Max. Chance followed behind Chloe. I stayed where I was and thought about what happened. Jessie found her second chance mate and ended up getting hurt. I need to get her away from here. I know exactly how to do it to. A smirk creeped across my face.
