~Lizzie’s POV~

My eyes fluttered open and I looked around. I was in the hospital wing of the pack house, alone. Ryley must have went to eat or something. I got up and noticed I was changed into fresh clothes.

“Ryley.” I said to myself grabbing my combat boots. He knows me so well. I got up and walked out of the room. I went straight to my office. Jessie has to be in here. I walked in and I saw one thing I never wanted to see. Ryley holding Jessie by the throat to a wall. I ran over and punched Ryley. He dropped Jessie and I kneeled down beside her.

“Lizzie when the hell did you wake up?!?” she asked trying to catch her breath.

“About three minutes ago. What the hell happened here?” I asked. I mean damn they are suppose to brother and sister. They don’t know that yet though.

“Ryley and I had a disagreement on who should run the pack.” Jessie snarled out.

“How long have I been in that hospital bed?” I asked.

“Five and a half years.” Jessie answered. “We did the mission and Hayley found her mate. His name is Lucas and his Wolves name is Marcus and trust me, Marcus has a temper from hell. Alot of other things have happened to.” Jessie said rubbing her jaw. I felt Suki trying to get to the surface. This wolf thinks he is better than everyone else. I stood up and looked at Ryley. He looks so bad and to think I did this to him.

“Ryley you know for a fact that I said, Jessie is to take over the pack while I am injured or else where.” I said looking him in the eye. His hair has gotten longer. He has gotten buffer too. Yumm. Bad mind, bad. No thinking dirty thoughts.

“You have been in that fucking hospital bed for five and a half years and Jessie has already put us through two wars with the same pack. My birth pack.” He snarled.

“I told her to do it Ryley, but let me guess you didn’t believe her when she said so. You think she was making it up so she could make the pack go down in numbers. You are going to stand here in my office and defend the same pack that killed your mother. Ryley, I’m going to let you in on a little secret. Your mother was the freaking Moon Goddess for christs sake.” I snapped. His eyes went wide and Jessie’s head snapped in my direction.

“The only way I got out of the Alpha’s Curse is because of my biological mother. She is the Water Goddess. She created the Alpha’s Curse. She told me some stuff about my past. Jessie’s, Chloe’s and my past. I will tell them now while you get some sleep and then I will tell you. I am taking back the Alpha title of this pack.” I informed in my Royal voice. They nodded.

“I will go get Chloe.” Jessie said and left.

“Lizzie why did you punch me?” Ryley asked, hurt clouded his eyes.

“You had my sister pinned to a wall by her throat and all because you wanted the Alpha title. Ryley, should I remind you of your past?” I questioned. His hurt looked turned into one of rage then went blank. Next thing I know I am in his arms with our lips moving hungrily together. He pushed me up against a wall, while his tongue invaded my mouth. Our tongues fought for dominance and this time he won. His tongue explored my mouth. We heard a knock at the door and pulled apart. His blank expression from earlier is now one of happiness and love. He gave me one more kiss on the head and walked over to the door. He opened it, saying excuse me, he walked out. I went over to my desk and sat down. Jessie can be really organized, when she wants to. Chloe rushed over to me and hugged the living daylights out of me. I hugged her back with a little giggle and she sat down.

“Okay, so what is this Jessie tells me about you meeting your mother and how she is the Water Goddess?” Chloe asks getting comfy. “Wait!! I have something to say first. I have found my second chance mate!! I went on a year long search. I finally found him and now he lives here with us. He has been here for two and a half years.” She said. Now that I got a better look at both of them, they look better. They look stronger. Jessie has grown a lot. So has Chloe. I have missed them so much.
