I woke up to a large bang. Jumping and close to falling out of bed. Luckily that tightly wrapped arm kept me from falling. A picture fell off the dresser. "Nash your still acting like a child throwing a tantrum." I said aloud. This time the two pictures fell off the nightstand.

I curled up closer to my fiancé. He pulled me tighter to him. I put my head in the crook of his neck and sighed. His hand rubbed against my back.

Then another bang made us both jump. "How much longer will I have to suffer at the wrath of your brother?" Jess asked lazily. He's already moved to the living room to sleep four times in the past five days.

"Would you rather sleep in the truck than on the couch?" I asked. "Only if you go with me." He said. One of the bigger pictures fell off the wall. I threw a bottle of lotion in the direction of the picture falling. Sibling rivalry even in death.

It was thrown back. I cursed and got out of bed. A stuffed animal hit me in the face. "Nash. This isn't funny. He's not leaving because you think he will. You don't have a voice in the human world anymore you don't know how he's treated me outside of this house." I said aloud.

Jess slid to the side of the bed and put a leg on either side of me. His arms wrapped around me with his head set on my shoulder. I was bent over trying not to completely shake. I was pulled back onto the bed.

"Sh. Sweetheart it's alright. Shh. Your safe. Your safe." I turned in his arms. He held me tighter. I haven't had a breakdown since march. This is minor of what an actual one is. "Nicky." I was now heavily breathing. "Breathe slowly sweetheart."

I tried my best to breathe slower. He kissed my forehead and all over my face. "Nicky. Breathe." He said slowly. I calmed down a little as he held me. He lifted my head up to face him. Then kissed me.

It was gentle and rough at the same time. I didn't want it to stop. He finally pulled away leaving me breathless. After two deep breaths I was calm and breathing easily.

"Are you better now?" He asked. I nodded against his chest. He kissed the tip of my nose. "I'll always take care of my girl no matter what happens." He said rolling onto his side taking me with him.

"Are we going to my parents for Christmas since we went to your grandfather's for thanksgiving?" Jess asked as we were feeding early one morning

"Are we going to my parents for Christmas since we went to your grandfather's for thanksgiving?" Jess asked as we were feeding early one morning. "We can." I said.

Thanksgiving was terrible. My parents showed up unannounced and almost bashed me for getting engaged to Jess. They claimed I didn't know him and questioned me about everything on him, except certain things.

I answered every question with the correct answer. Spending lots of time in the passenger seat of a truck gave me the opportunity to ask him tons of questions about himself. Then my mother had to say something along the line of me sleeping with him and becoming pregnant with his child.

That's not even the case. Not until after I'm married to him. That night I had the worst night terror I've ever had. I woke up to Jess holding me flesh against him. His legs even wrapped around mine. He was lucky enough to calm me down enough to the point where I was silently crying.

"Maybe my parents won't be able to go to Montana." I said pitching a flake of hay to a bull. "I know they will hate the colder weather. Don't worry sweetheart. If they do plan on it then they'll be in for the biggest shock of their lives." Jess said.

"We still going to cowboy Christmas for gifts and such?" I asked him. "That's the best place to find gifts for a rodeo family. So of course we're still going." He said. "When are we leaving?"

"Bright and early tomorrow morning." He answered. Once the cattle were fed Jess and I went to pack clothes. Of course he already had warm clothes for the north.

I finished packing before he did. "Did you pack warm socks?" He asked. "I don't have warm socks or thermal clothes." I told him. "Going to have to stop aren't we?" He teased. "Oh and I prefer to stay indoors during the winter." I told him.
