Chapter 16- Video Chats

I woke up the next morning, it took a few seconds before I could register what happened yesterday – Nathan left. I frowned and got out of bed heading to the shower. I freshened myself and checked my phone. Three new messages and fifteen twitter notifications. Wow. I opened my messages and found the first was from Nathan saying that he missed me, I quickly replied although he was probably asleep because of the time difference, the next text was from Mollie saying she would be around at eleven and the final message was from Kelsey asking when we could all meet up. I replied to Kelsey saying if she, Michelle and Nareesha weren’t doing anything we could meet up today. She soon replied back saying they were free and I arranged for them to come round at one.

I went downstairs to see my mum making breakfast; she had got back a couple of days ago from visiting my aunt who was now better. She was smiling and humming along to a track on the radio. She hadn’t seen me yet so I was going to make her jump.

“You’re very jolly today aren’t you?” I said poking her in the ribs and she jumped slightly turning around.

“Lucy! How many times have I told you not to do that?” She said although her lips were pulled up slightly into a smile, I laughed and sat at the table as she put a bowl of cereal in front of me.

“So what are you doing today since you can’t be with Nathan?” she asked and I frowned before answering.

“Well Mollie’s coming in fifteen minutes and Nareesha, Michelle and Kelsey the other boys girlfriends are coming round at one” I said in between mouthfuls. She nodded and told me she was meeting some friends for the day so wouldn’t be back until later.

Fifteen minutes later the doorbell rang and I bounded to the door to let Mollie in, I was excited to see her because we hadn’t seen each other in a while. I flung the door open and she was stood grinning back at me.

“Lucy! I’ve missed you! How was my curly haired boy yesterday?” she said starting the questions again, I rolled my eyes as we hugged.

“I’ve missed you too! And Jay was fine when he got given free packets of skittles at the airport” I said as we walked up to my room. We flopped down on the bed and caught up with everything that had happened in the last few days, I told her about me and Nathan, everything she asked about Jay and I told her about meeting Nareesha, Kelsey and Michelle.

“The other girls are coming here at one, I hope that’s okay” I said as we lay on the bed facing the ceiling.

“Of course! It will be great to meet the others! I can’t believe all five of our boys have girlfriends and we’re both dating one of them!” she said an I laughed, it was pretty amazing to say that before I was just another fan and now I’m dating Nathan. My phone vibrated next to me and I picked it up, it had just gone twelve here so I knew they had probably just woken up in America. I read the text from Nathan ‘Lucy! If you’re not busy do a twitcam or something I really want to see your face! X’ I read it and laughed showing Mollie the text before replying, ‘I’ll do a twitcam at one, you’ll see why. Make sure all the other boys are there with you! X’ I hit send and Mollie and I gossiped again until the time hit one.
