Chapter 21 – Returning

Mollie was unbelievably excited the next day at school, she got told off numerous times by the teachers to calm down, although she didn’t listen. The only time I’d seen her this excited was the day we were going to see The Wanted in concert, I couldn’t blame her though she was crazy about Jay.

 As the final bell rang I had just about shoved everything in my bag before Mollie dragged me by the arm out of school so I had to practically run to catch up with her, Jay had text her as soon as they landed and they hadn’t stopped texting each other since.

 “C’mon Lucy! I want to see Jay, you’ve already see Nathan, chop chop!” she said and I quickened my walk. Five minutes later and we arrived back at my house, we had arranged to meet the boys later at Pizza Hut so were coming back here to get ready. I took my keys out of my bag and opened to the door, it was unusually quiet but we just ran upstairs to my room.

 I turned the handle and walked in only to find five familiar boys and their girlfriends jumping out at us, Mollie screamed while I jumped on the spot. They were all clutching their stomach’s laughing and I just rolled my eyes and walked up to Nathan giving him a hug, Mollie and Jay were already in mid-embrace.

 “Boys! I need a word with you!” I said turning to look at them all, they all smirked as I put a hand on my waist and pointed. I quickly stood up straight not wanting to look like a teacher at school before continuing.

 “I can’t believe you all got drunk and ended up getting tattoos! What if you decide you don’t want them anymore?”  The others all looked at each and Nareesha, Mollie, Michelle and Kelsey all went wide eyed, I guess they hadn’t told them yet.

 “Look we were drunk and we really needed to apologise. You can’t hardly see the tattoos anyway they’re so small so I doubt we’ll regret them” Tom said and I rolled my eyes. All the boys sat in order on my bed Jay one side and Nathan the other and they pulled up the end of their trousers to show the girls. I expected it closer somehow it still surprized me that it read Lucy, the girls muttered something but smiled and said they were glad everything was back to normal.

 “Let’s go get some food! I could eat a cow... no not a cow a field of corn” Jay said before wrapping his arm around Mollie. We got ready and piled into a couple of cars before driving to the nearest Pizza Hut. Thank fully no-one recognised the boys so we were able to quickly order our five Pizzas.

“I can’t move a muscle!” Max said as he wrapped his arms around Michelle’s shoulders, she grinned and briefly pecked him on the lips making him grin and flick her nose, they were so sweet together!

 “I’m going to take Mollie home, see you at the weekend guys!” Jay said winking, I gave him a questioning look but he just winked again and walked off with Mollie in the opposite direction.

 “Lucy and I better get going too, see you later guys” Nathan said as his hand intertwined with mine, I grinned and followed Nathan waving to the rest of them. We got back to my house ten minutes later and Nathan followed me to my room.

 “I’ve been working on a song for you” Nathan said as I collapsed on my bed full to the brim.

 “Really? About me?” I asked surprized, I’d always wanted someone to write a song about me but I never really thought it would happen, although I never would have thought I’d be dating Nathan Sykes either.

 “Yep, do you want to hear it so far?” Nathan said and I sat up and nodded, he stood in-front of me and took my hand before his eyes closed and he began to sing.

Nathan’s voice pierced through the room gripping me to the song, I don’t think I’d ever been moved like that before in a song, it was magical. Goosebumps ran along my arms and I was speechless, his eyes opened and darted to mine before he grinned.

 “Nathan, that was beautiful! I can’t even-“ I said, I stood up and pulled him into a hug. I wanted him close, were the lyrics he wrote real? Did he really lo- did he really love me? I knew I was falling for him and I was pretty sure he was falling for me too but I didn’t want to jump to conclusions and make mistakes.

 Nathan pulled away and swept a piece of hair out of my eyes before leaning in so our lips met, this wasn’t like any other kiss, his lips were soft but there was a roughness to them, it was like he was desperate and my lips moved against his just as eagerly. We broke away a few minutes later to catch our breath, Nathan grinned and couldn’t help but smile back, he was so infectious.

 “I’m so glad I met you, I can’t image ever being without you” Nathan said and we collapsed sitting next to each on my bed.

 “On Saturday morning the boys and I are taking a trip to Paris until Sunday and I would love it you would come with us. Jay has asked Mollie and the other boys are all bringing their girls, I asked your mum yesterday when you went to get changed and she agreed as long as Paul is there with us, so what do you say?”  I didn’t even have to think twice to know my answer.

 “Of course I’ll go with you” I said as I grinned, Nathan kissed me on the temple and stood up to leave. I walked him to the door and we gave each other a goodbye kiss, once he’d left I ran straight to my room and dived under my bed covers grinning like a fool, all I’d been doing recently was smiling although I knew it wasn’t a bad thing.

 I was so excited to go to the most romantic city in the world and I was going with my boyfriend, I knew it would be an unforgettable trip away and I wouldn’t forget it in a long time.

 A/N- I know this chapter’s a little short but I’ll make the next one longer! There is one chapter left after this and then an epilogue! I can’t believe I’ve almost finished it! Thank you to everyone who has read it and got it to over 40,000 reads it’s crazy! Keep voting it means a lot Xx
