I made my way through the streets of Albany, my eyes scanning for the Hudson River coffee house. I eventually ended up in a short line to order. I came here often, and it's never been this busy.
"The usual, Ellen?"
"Yes," I smiled.
I paid for my coffee and sat myself in my normal corner. I saw a curly haired boy setting up his guitar, he tapped the microphone before speaking.
"I'm Harry Styles," he paused. "And you all are in for a treat."
He started to strum his guitar with a sly smile projected on his face.
"Isn't she lovely," he fixed his eyes on mine.
"Isn't she wonderful
Isn't she precious
Less than one minute old
I never thought through love we'd be
Making one as lovely as she
But isn't she lovely made from love-"
His emerald eyes were fixed on mine throughout the song, they never left. He started to approach me, and of course I went into panic mode.
"Hello," he smiled as he sit himself in front of me.
"You have a great voice," I complimented.
"Oh I know," he chuckled. "What's your name, love?"
His accent will be the death of me,"Ellen."
"Lovely name for a lovely girl," he winked, causing me to blush furiously.
"You live around here?" I asked, trying to play it off.
"I'm a bit new to the area," he paused. "I'm sure you can show me around."
"And what makes you so sure?" I raised an eyebrow.
"You're attracted to me, I've already made you blush about three times."
He was right, and that just made me blush even harder.
"Where do you live?" he asked while voluntarily taking a sip out of my coffee, which was pretty damn hot.
"Downtown," I said while snatching the coffee cup back.
"Alone?" he chuckled while snaking the cup out of my hand.
"U-um yeah," I stuttered.
"Don't worry, I'm not a creepy stalker or anything. Just curious."
"Closing time," a voice echoed, causing us to be directed out of the small little coffee shop.
"I'll see you," I waved before almost walking off.
"You think I'm going to let you walk home alone, at midnight? Come on," he grabbed my hand and led me his car.
I directed him to my apartment, which took only under five minutes. Just as I started to unbuckle, he did the same.
"Still not letting you go in alone," he huffed.
We silently walked to the elevator, where Harry had an encounter with someone.
"Hi Harry," a short brunette squeaked. "Remember me?"
"Sorry, I don't."
"Shouldn't be surprised," she sighed before exiting.
"I do know her," he paused. "Dated her for a month and she forced me to go to counseling."
"Counseling? For what?" I chuckled.
"Guess she didn't like how I was."
"Could I go in?" he asked as I began to unlock the door.
"Sure, be my guest," I let him go ahead of me.
He took slow strides, his eyes skimming over the contents of my home.
"Very plain, I thought you would be more decorative."
"Guess you thought wrong," I said as I sat myself down on the couch.
He sighed while sitting himself next to me.
"You have a lot of tattoos," I said while tracing my fingers over the ones on his arms.
"I know.." he said, obviously startled by my action.
"Why so many?"
"They express my feelings, for the most part." he chuckled.
"What were you feeling when you got this rose?" I traced the gigantic rose in the middle of his arm.
"Relief," he stated simply.
"Why relief?"
"You ask a lot of questions," he paused. "Just for certain reasons, Ellen."
"What about this ship?"
"You've already used up your question," he winked. "Now it's my turn."
"What do you want to ask?"
"Why do you live alone?"
"Who else would I live with?" I playfully rolled my eyes.
"Where's your family?"
"Back home, in Washington."
"Do you like being alone?"
"I don't know, just sometimes," I sighed.
"Well, just call me when you need someone." he stated while putting a small piece of paper on the coffee table.
"I will."
__________
I walked around the supermarket trying to find some damn eggs, that's when I ran into the girl from the elevator.
"How do you know Harry?" she asked casually while browsing through milk brands.
"I don't really know him that well," I stated while trying to push my cart past her.
She gripped the front, preventing me from going further, "Just be careful with him."
I nodded while going to checkout. My mind was racing, why would she warn me about him? I'm sure he had his flaws, but who doesn't?
I started to walk into my apartment, and Harry was all cozied up on my couch.
"How in the hell did you get in here?" I dropped my bags on the marble.
"I have ways," he smirked while flipping through the channels.
"I've changed my mind, you're a creepy stalker." I huffed.
"You like the attention, don't deny it."
Once again, he was right.
"I ran into that girl from the elevator," I sat myself directly across from him.
"What did she say?" he rolled his eyes.
"To be careful around you," I raised an eyebrow.
"Maybe she's right."
"So you want me to stay away from you?"
"No, but you should." he bit his lip, letting his eyes drift down to my lips.
His actions made me look at his plump lips too. They were full with a touch of pink, they weren't chapped even though he would lick them constantly. His hand tucked a piece of my blonde hair behind my ear, that's when he leaned in. Once our lips crashed together, he immediately scooted closer.
If only I knew what I was getting myself into.

Please give me feedback on this first chapter, it will get better once I dive into the plot more. I picture Sasha Pieterse as Ellen.
