She was still here, despite my actions from last night.

Even though she was turned away from me, I was glad she was still occupying the other side of the bed. I slowly slid out from under the covers and tip-toed to the bathroom. I tried my best to keep from making too much noise while sliding drawers open. Once I found the my leather journal, I sighed with relief.

I walked back into the bedroom to find Ellen shifting around.

"What time is it," she groaned.

"E-eight," I stuttered and hid the journal behind my back.

"Shit," she sat up.

"I'll drive you," I said while inching closer to the bed.

"Just give me a few minutes," she scurried into the bathroom.

I immediately slid the journal under the bed without thought and got into a new change of clothes.

"Does this look okay?" she stepped out to reveal her well paired outfit.

"You look gorgeous," I smiled and planted a kiss on her cheek before leading down the stairs.

I cranked the car and started the drive to her new work-place.

"I have a gig tonight," I paused. "I won't be home until late."

"I can hitch a ride from Haven."

"Haven?"

"My boss," she said while adjusting the radio. "Turn here."

I turned left to reveal a strip of stores, "Rose Boutique?"

"That's it," she smiled while unbuckling her seat-belt.

I got out of the car and held the door open for her.

"Ellen!" A blonde girl squealed. I assume she is Haven.

They exchanged hugs and I hear Haven to instruct a younger boy to takeover the register.

"Harry," I held out my hand to the chipper blonde.

"Haven," her smiled widened to reveal her perfectly white teeth. "Ellen is in good hands, let's get started!"

I gave Ellen a quick hug before I exited the work atmosphere to find Courtney.

"He is gorgeous," Haven fanned herself dramatically with the brochures from the company. I chuckled at her comment and pinned the provided name-tag at the top of my dress.

"What do you need me to do first?" I asked.

"Organize the section with the dresses and then clean out dressing rooms," she said. "Oh and if anyone asks you a question, just answer to the best of your ability."

I made headway to the dresses and started to put them in order by size.

"You the newbie?" a familiar voice came from behind me. I turned around to see Jake, out of all people.

"You're the last person that comes to my mind who would work at a boutique," I chuckled.

"Ellen," he smiled as he grew closer. "Haven and I are good friends and she hooked me up with a job."

"It's nice here," I paused. "Peaceful."

"There's a party tomorrow night, you should come."

As much as I wanted to, Harry wouldn't let me go alone. If he went, there's a chance he could relapse. I wouldn't have that.
