"And you don't classify this as a date?" I signaled to the dinner he had set up for us, in my apartment.

"Just a friendly gesture," a wicked smirk projected on his face.

I sighed and started to set the table, letting my thoughts consume me.

"Dont think so much," he rolled his eyes. "You'll create a problem that wasn't even there in the first place.."

"Wise words, but I can't control my thoughts."

He hummed while preparing the spaghetti and I let my eyes skim the tattoos on his wrist.

"What's the padlock for?" I asked while fixing our drinks.

"Maybe you will find out another time," he said while setting our plates down. "Why do you ask so many damn questions?"

"That's how you get to know a person," I chuckled while spinning my spaghetti.

"It's impossible, if you're trying to get to know a person like me."

"It always seems impossible until it's done," I smirked, causing him to go into hysterics.

"Good luck with that," he took a sip out of his water.

"Why don't you ask me a question?"

"Okay," he paused. "Why do you have scars?"

His question made me go completely silent, I didn't pay attention to them anymore.

"It's okay, sometimes not saying anything is the best answer. You see, silence can never be misquoted."

"I've been fighting, against myself."

"Pain always demands to be felt, in many different ways."

"Like?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Depends on the person, could be alcohol, drugs, or," he gestured to my arms.

"I don't blame you, the human skin can be hard to live in. That's why most tear it open."

I nodded, wanting desperately to move subjects.

"Do you want to go to a party tonight?" his eyes lit up.

"Sure, where?"

"At a house." he chuckled.

"Just give me a second," I scurried into my bedroom.

I settled on some leggings and an oversized sweater, it was the end of February and in New York that's freezing season.

Harry got us both to the house in under five minutes. He grabbed my hand and led me into the house that was blaring with music. We went to a specific room that had a DJ and people with too many tattoos and piercings dancing around wildly. He was greeted by a girl with lilac hair, she even stole a kiss.

"She's always all over me," he whispered hoarsely in my ear as she trotted off. "She even has a boyfriend."

Harry handed me a beer and took a gulp out of his, he lifted his arms and blended into the dancing crowd.

I did feel a little out of place, but if he knew that then why would he bring me? He waved for me to come near him, so I tried my best to squeeze by. He grabbed my hand once again, and introduced me to the girl with the lilac hair and the boy next to her.

"This is Zayn and Perrie," he signaled to the two individuals. "This is Ellen."

"Nice to meet you," Perrie smiled.

"Didn't know Harry had a girl," Zayn smirked.

"I don't."

Ouch.
