"You called it," I sighed while ripping off the eviction notice from my apartment door.

"More the reason to stay with me until you gets things stable again," he smirked.

"Let's start packing," I stated while pulling out my only suitcase from the closet.

"I'll pack up your bathroom stuff," he volunteered. "You don't have a lot of extra stuff, which I'm thankful for."

I tried my best to neatly fold my clothing into the suitcase, but I ended up throwing it all in piles until it was full.

"What should I do about the furniture?" I let my brows furrow.

"You could leave it or put it in storage," he shrugged his shoulder.

"I'll just leave it," I sighed. "There really isn't much more to pack."

"I'll start taking your stuff to the car," he said.

I took the stairs down to the small lobby and went straight to the front desk.

"Is Ms. Parker available?" I asked.

"Through the first door," the woman said without even  looking up from her computer.

I walked into the small room to find Ms. Parker slouched in the comfortable office chair reading a fashion magazine.

"Yes?" she huffed while flipping through the pages.

"I'm here about the eviction notice," I said while stepping closer.

"You're late on payment, you have less than a month to make it up," she snarled.

"I'm moving out, but I will pay what I owe when I start working again."

"You better," she looked up from the magazine. "There is only so much time I can give."

"No worries, it will be paid off," I assured her while stepping out of the plain office.

"Last box," Harry said while walking towards the exit. "I already turned in the key in."

"Thank you," I smiled.

"Are you excited?" he asked while starting up the car.

"Yeah," I buckled my seat-belt. "Next step is online classes, then a job."

"I can help you with the classes, but you'll have to fend for yourself with the job part," he chuckled.

"I have a few options in mind, there's this new boutique downtown."

"We can check it out tomorrow," he offered.

As he started to drive up the lengthy driveway, his face dropped.

"Shit," he mumbled under his breath, along with a few other colorful words.

Courtney was sitting on his front steps with her lips pursed and her arms crossed.

I got out of the car with Harry and left the boxes.

"Go inside," he said, I nodded.

I pressed my ear against the cold door, making sure to hear every little piece of their conversation.

"Why are you here?" he spat.

"I know you aren't really fond of me right now," he sighed. "But I need for someone to take me to the doctor."

"I understand why you would come here, but why do you need to go?" he said.

Courtney mumbled some incoherent words and started sobbing. I stood on my tip-toes to peek out of the peep-hole. Harry had no emotion on his face at all, but he was still allowing Courtney to sob on his shoulder.
