And to his word, he was downstairs in the lobby at 1 o'clock the next day.
He was actually a bit early, half an hour early to be precise. He didn't want to keep her waiting.
At one point, one of the hotel staff came out to him and told William that he would have to leave if he was loitering.
He quickly explained that he was waiting for someone.
The hotel staff gave him a suspicious look.
William sighed and gave me a 20-pound bill. The hotel staff gave him a wide smile, tucking the bill in his pocket and retreated back to his desk.
Just then, Jenn caught sight of William and took a moment to observe him.
He seemed nice enough, and a bit nervous.
That thought gave Jenn a bit of pleasure.
"Hello, William." She said as she rounded the corner, coming into his view.
"Hello, Jennifer."
"Jenn, please." She insisted.
"Well then, Jenn..." He trailed off, taking in her ripped black jeans, black lace crop top layered underneath her black leather jacket and bold red lipstick to top it all off.
"Eyes front, soldier."
William blushed that she noticed and glanced up to her smirking face. "You look really nice."
"As do you." She did a one over of his own ripped black jeans and plain white shirt layered under a chambray button down. His hair today was no longer ruffled and messy but gelled back into place.
If Jenn was honest with herself, she'd say that she missed his messy hair.
"You ready for your own personal tour around Buckingham palace?" William offered her his arm.
"Of course."
Jenn accepted her arm and they walked out of the lobby arm in arm.
