William watched her retreating figure. Even with her coffee stained clothes, she strode with pride.

He turned the opposite way, going to work knowing he was already late.

Thoughts of Jenn filtered through his mind.

Before he realized how it happened, his feet started walking in Jenn's wake.

"Jenn!"

She looked over her shoulder, chestnut brown hair shinning in the sunlight making her glow.

"William."

He jogged to catch up to her.

"How about I officially apologize for your coffee by taking you out for lunch tomorrow?" Once he spoke those words, he realized how unlikely it would be for her to accept. "I mean," he recovered. "That is if you don't have anything else planned..."

She gazed over his face, analyzing everything from how his hairline was slightly too far out to the slightly crooked front tooth.

"That's very sweet of you to say," Jenn said. "But, I already have tomorrow all planned out."

"Yeah," William ran a hand through his hair, ruffling it even more. "I wasn't thinking. You're here on vacation and you probably want to see the tourist sights." He ranted more to himself than to Jenn.

She gave a sympathetic smile. "Maybe next time."

He gave a deflated smile. "Okay."

Jenn though for a moment. "Or, if you're interested, you can accompany me to the Buckingham palace and maybe go for an afternoon tea?"

William perked up. "Umm. Yes, I would love that!"

"Okay." She tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear. "I'm staying at that hotel only a few blocks from here, so I'll meet you in the lobby at 1?"

William had to work tomorrow, but he wasn't going to give up his second chance. "I'll be there."
