The ballet Jenn and William were going to was an early evening performance, leaving them enough time to go on the London eye before it got dark.

"I'll be honest with you." William said as they exited out of the building. "I love ballets."

"Really?" Jenn said, surprised.

William gave her a playful look. "Don't look so surprised. I just like to think that I'm cultured."

Jen gave him a gentle nudge. "Well, I think your cultured. Especially with that accent."

William chuckled before waving down a cab.

Once settled into the cab, Jenn pulled out her compact and lipstick and refreshed it. The world would end the day Jenn didn't apply her classic red lip.

"London Eye, please." William said to the cabby and they drove off into the night.

William eyed Jenn as she focused on her makeup.

She was wearing a long black gown, lace around her shoulders exposing her bare collar bones. Her hair was curled and rested around her face. It took all of William's restraint to keep from running his hands through it.

"That performance was immaculate, don't you agree?" Jenn said while brushing the tube against her lips.

William nodded distractedly. "Yeah, it was."
Satisfied with herself, Jenn closed her compact and put in away. "Do you think it will be busy at the eye?" Jenn eyed William in his blazer. Jenn realized they wouldn't have enough time to change, so they had to go in their evening attire.

William checked his watch. "I don't think so."

"Alright, and you don't mind going like this?" She motioned to their clothes.

He chuckled. "Trust me, I've seen a lot stranger. No one will care."

She nodded.

"Um, Jenn you have a little..."

While talking, Jenn smudged some of her lipstick.

"What?"

"Here." Before he knew what he was doing, he reached across the cab and gently caressing her cheek before wiping off the red stain with his thumb.

Jenn sat still in shock.

William drew his hand back. "There you go."

"Th-thanks." She managed to stammer. Her heart was racing in her chest.

William smiled.
