I found out the girl, her name is Tara, was related to Tyler, she was his sister. She told me that she was always terrified of him. I understood. We talked, laughed, and cried together. We became best friends, believe it or not. She asked me if her brother is in prison and I said, "Yes, he is in prison. He won't be getting out for a long time." Tara hugged and thanked me. I said "You're welcome." Then, she asked again what happened to me. I reminded her that her brother purposefully hit me with his truck and I got bad burns. She said "Oh. Okay". A minute later, she told me she wasn't feeling well, then she had a seizure. "Dr. Choi! We need a crash cart! Tara's seizing!" I yelled. Immediately, Dr. Choi, April, and other nurses rushed in and immediately got to work. I prayed for her to be okay.

Four heart stopping, emotional hours later, Dr. Choi told me that she was on life support. I put my hands on my head and cried, "Oh my gosh!" I broke down in tears and asked how long she would be in life support. Dr. Choi sighed and said, "I don't know." I asked if I could notify her parents and he said I could. So, I collected myself and went to the nurse's station to call Tara's parents. Her mother answered,

"Hello? This is Mrs. Sonoma speaking."

"Hi Mrs. Sonoma. My name is Dr. Caroline Billiot. I'm an emergency physician at Chicago Med. Are you aware of your daughter, Tara's injuries?"

"Yes, I drove her there after she fell at cheerleading practice and she was fine. What happened?"

I took a deep breath and said, "Mrs. Sonoma, your daughter is in critical condition. She's on life support. We need you and Mr. Sonoma to come right away."

"W-we'll be th-there right away." Then, she hung up.

An hour later, Mr. and Mrs. Sonoma arrived and I lead them to their daughter's room. I held back tears as I told them that she'd had a seizure. Her head injury was serious. The doctors would run more tests on her. Her mother broke down in tears and held her hand. Her father got angry and attacked me, "You better not let her die!" He screamed. Mrs. Sonoma ran for help and Dr. Choi and Dr. Halstead rushed in just as Mr. Sonoma was about to choke me out. Dr. Choi and Dr. Halstead separated us and I collapsed in Halstead's arms. I heard Mrs. Sonoma scream at Mr. Sonoma, "Dale! You can't do that! She didn't do anything! You know what? You made Tara fall from her pyramid! I saw that!" Then I heard Mr. Sonoma yell back, "Shut up, Marcia!" Then, I blacked out.
