once i stepped out of the shower, i reached for the blue towel that was folded upon the counter of the bathroom sink. i wrapped the towel like a cape around my shivering body. every time i shower i always have to have the water at the maximum heat level, which feels amazing. the only downside is that once i get out i'm freezing.

phil was waiting for me to get out of the shower so he could get in. then we would go out.

i stood there for a while. in the middle of phil's brightly decorated bathroom, the towel still acting as my cape. i guess i was too occupied in my own thoughts to notice the bathroom door start opening.

phil stuttered, "I-I THOUGHT YOU GOT OUT-"

"i-um-it's-it's okay." i responded calmly, because i really didn't mind. it was weird, i normally would've been about as self-conscious as one can get in this situation, but i felt really comfortable around phil. i guess i didn't really care at this point.

after his eyes wandered a bit, i watched phil forcefully shut them tightly and walk out.

"I'M SO SORRY." he shouted after closing the door.
all i did in response was smile.
