I woke up late this morning because I had my homeworks done very late last night. No one bothered to wake me up, maybe because they were tired of arguing with my, "Uh.. 5 minutes more please"

As soon as I got out of my comfy bed, mom just recently changed the beddings last night so I could still scent the smell of a fabric conditioner, another lazy reason to get up.

I went out on my room still rubbing my eyes, I gazed at the surroundings for a moment. I looked down, since I'm at the second floor and saw Tommy's socks all over the couch, Daddy's slippers under the table, Katie's crayons scattered all over the table. It's like dinosaurs pay us a visit. What a mess!

I searched all over our small house looking for her. She must be in the kitchen. As soon as I got downstairs, I saw her sweeping the floor with her messy bunned hair, sweaty haggard face, and still on her night attire last night. I sighed.

"Sweetie! You're up now. Good Morning!" With full of enthusiasms, she greeted me and then a priceless smile flashed on her face.

"You didn't woke me up" I sweetly complained.

I sat on the table and grab a toasted bread.

"I know you need more than 5 minutes" she looked at the wall clock, then she continued. "Was 45 minutes enough already?"

"Mom," I silently uttered.

"Yes your coffee is inside the ref you just have to reheat it" I didn't say anything yet but I guess I don't really have to say anything when it comes to her.

"I know mom. But that's not what I want to ask you" I said fixing my eyes to her.

She turned at my direction. "Okay, what is it sweety?"

"Are you not tired of doing all of these? I mean, sweeping, waking up early to cook for us, feed us, prepare our things, wash our clothes, iron it, clean all the mess, love us unconditionally like Katy Perry. You didn't even noticed that your hair was already a bird's nest" I slightly laughed at my own joke while pointing to her hair.

Mom smiled again. Then she walked towards my direction, she's combing my hair using her fingers. I always love when mom do it. "Aren't you happy that I do those things?"

"Ofcourse I'm happy! Because everything is being prepared for us" I answered.

"That's it. I do all of those things because that's make you happy and seeing you happy and comfortable is making me happy too. Even if it is my hair becoming a bird's nest I wouldn't mind, as long as I'm making you happy I'll let all the birds lay their eggs in my hair" she laughed as she said her last line.

"Uh, someone give me tissue please!" Then I hugged her, " I love you mom!" She hugged me back and said, "I love you too but for now you have to take your bath already 'cause you already smell like an over-riped mangoes"

then we both laughed.
