The Walking Dead

Hey everyone! So to celebrate the fact that The Walking Dead is back on, I'm going to start the POV's of TWD characters. Plus, I haven't done one of their POV's yet so here we go! Lets start with Rick, who if you don't remember, is the man Lia saved in the hospital and is the main character of TWD. So....HERE WE GO! Also, comment or vote if you think this story is actually any good please and thank you. :)

Rick Grimes POV:

(Backstory)

  My name is Rick Grimes and I am a survivor of this apocalypse. I led a pretty normal life before all this shit went down. I had a beautiful wife named Lori and a great son named Carl. I was also a sheriff with my best friend Shane Walsh. One day while Shane and I were doing our duty by trying to shoot a criminal, I was shot and taken to the hospital. I was in a coma for a couple of years. I had blurry images and memories of Shane coming in and bringing me flowers. I also have a very blurred memory of a woman coming to me and sticking a needle into me, I don't know what she looked like or who she was. It was just like a dream. The next thing I knew, I woke up from my coma and saw what the world had come to. I met a man named Morgan and his son Duane. They nursed me back to health and told me about the walkers. I learned pretty quickly and set out on my own to find my family. 

  After many close encounters, I was befriended by a young man named Glenn who brought me tothe rest of his group. I helped them get out of there and they brought me to their camp which housed even more people. As I entered the camp, I saw a very familiar looking boy. It was my son, Carl. Lori was there too and so was Shane! It turns out they thought I was dead, so Shane brought it upon himself to take responsibility for Lori and Carl and I can't thank him enough for that. 

  As the months passed by, I noticed that Lori and Shane were acting a bit different.Lori was nervous around Shane and Shane started to get angry very easily. I befriended a redneck named Daryl Dixon who was looking for his asshole of a brother, but gave up on him in the hopes that they might meet someday. He's been helping us ever since. He's my right hand man since Shane is well, being different. After many deaths, attacks, and scares later, I finally found out why. 

  Shane had told Lori and Carl that I had died, so they tried to move on. Lori and Shane had a relationship going on until I came. I know, she only went with him because she was lonely, but still that's my wife man! It only got worse after we found out that Lori was pregnant. I didn't care if it was mine or Shane's, but no matter what, I will be the father to this unborn child, not Shane. He should know this, but I know that I have to be more careful around him. 

  For a day, we stayed at a health center run by a Dr. Jenner who tried, but failed to find a cure to the disease. He was planning on blowing us all up since his lab was scheduled to detonate, but we realized that we wanted to survive. We left that health center since Jenner was going to blow it up along with himself, but before leaving, Dr. Jenner something in my ear. Something very important and life changing. I don't know how or when to break this to the group, but I will soon. 

  Later on, we all took shelter at a farm owned by an old man/doctor named Hershel and his two daughters Beth and Maggie. I think Maggie and Glenn have something going on, but I didn't want to ask. Many things happened at this farm, but we don't need to get into details. Shane has been getting more and more aggravated. Something big is going to happen, I can feel it. Something definitely not good. I have a bad feeling about today, its a good thing I have my gun loaded and my knife ready in my back pocket just in case.
