Niklaus

I'M SO SORRY GUYS!! I was supposed to update a while ago, but school started and I'm just trying to get back into the flow. It's also my senior year as well! I've also been trying to plan out how I want this chapter to go so please bear with me! Also, as punishment for not updating, I will be doing two chapters! Once again, so sorry please forgive me! Anyways, here we go! 

Previously in Survival of the Fittest: 

Jodha/Aurelia is about to respond when the get interupted by Jupo, announcing that a foreign carriage has arrived. Akbar and Jodhaa decide to talk together later, and enter the entrance of the palace. They see the carriage that steadily approaches. Jodhaa/Aurelia, being able to read, write, and speak in Hindi, Bulgarian, English, and now Arabic, reads the English writing on the carriage to her husband. "Mikaelson." 

Jodhaa/Aurelia's POV: 

  The carriage stops in front of our palace. The driver of the carriage hops off and opens the door holding his hand out. A light feminine hand grasps his hand and steps out. A strikingly beautiful woman with golden blonde hair emerges. After her entrance, 4 young men follow. They all seem to have the same features, their faces wide with admiration as they survey our homeland. They eyes finally lock on us. Their driver tells them something, most likely who we are. The five approach us, climbing up the stairs, the stares of all of them especially the men never leaving me. Their driver bows deeply to us and starts to speak.

  "Shahensha Ji, Mallika," (Emperor, Empress), "Yehi lok hai Mikaelsons. Europe se aaya hoon. Aapse aur Mallika se milane aur bharath dekhan aaya hain." (These people are the Mikaelsons. They have come from Europe. They came to meet you, the Empress, and see India.) Akbar nods his head, "Swagath hai." (Welcome). The driver speaks again and gestures to the seemingly eldest man. "Yehi hai Finn, aur uska bhaiyom, Elijah, Niklaus, aur Kol, aur bahena, Rebekah." (This is Finn, and his brothers, Elijah, Niklaus, and Kol, and sister, Rebekah.) At their name, each person bows to us. I smile and nod my head. The lady, Rebekah says in a beautiful British accent, "Your country and palace is very beautiful."

  The driver translates what she says back to Akbar, but I knowing English respond back, "Thank you." The five look shocked. "You speak English?" The one with curly dirty blonde hair, Niklaus speaks his eyes staring deeply into mine. "Yes sir, she can read and write in many languages." The driver tells him. "Impressive, brains and beauty. My type of girl." The youngest man, Kol says smirking. Elijah steps up. "My apologies. Please ignore Kol, he never thinks before he speaks even when in the presence of a married woman. An empress at that." Kol rolls his eyes while his other siblings chuckle. "Enough talking, let's all go inside." I say. Akbar leads the way with me at his side, te rest follow except the driver who goes to retrieve their suitcases. 

  A few days turn into a few weeks and the Mikaelsons are still staying in the palace. That may be due to the fact that the Mikaelsons are vampires. The original vampires. Whenever Jodhaa or Akbar's back are turned, the vampires always compel themselves a snack and have "convinced" the emperor to let them stay extra. Jodhaa and Akbar have seem to have become close friends with them, but they still aren't sleeping in the same bed together nor have they gotten the time to actually speak privately together. It seems that there is always a Mikaelson in the way. One Mikaelson in particular has taken a very keen interest in the Empress ever since he saw her that first day. Niklaus. She takes some notice to it, but ignores it hoping that he remembers and respects the fact that she is a married woman. Elijah is always ever so noble and moral. Finn is quiet and likes to observe from afar. Kol is arrogant and cocky as normal while Rebekah, Aurelia, and Jupo seem to have become a close group of friends.

  That all changes once they learn of the arrival of someone that has been pursuing them for a very long time. A man who turned the originals into vampires. A vampire who hunts other vampires. Mikael, the father to Finn, Elijah, Kol, Rebekah and  abusive and cruel step-father to Niklaus. His life's mission is to kill them all. In an attempt to protect their new friends the Emperor and Empress and their own skins from harm, the Mikaelsons decide to leave the palace, all leaving at different times, in different directions. One stays behind too long though. Niklaus. He is deeply infatuated with Aurelia and what Niklaus wants, Niklaus gets.
