Detention

Astrid was sat beside Him. It was all his fault. They were both sat staring at the clock and the teacher sat in front of them on her desk.

"This is your fault. Ugh! You never listen to me!" Astrid whispered to Hiccup who was sat beside her. He sighed,

"I know, but I didn't intend to get caught." Hiccup tried to escape the hole he had managed to dig himself.

"No one ever does. But then they get caught!" Astrid argues back.

"Oi! Silence!" The teacher shouted to them. "This is detention, not The Ellen Show!" The teacher yelled making both Astrid and Hiccup smile at her slight joke.

Astrid looked over at Hiccup and felt a slight blush appear on her cheeks. Of course she was happy to be in detention with Hiccup, but how they got there was upsetting.

A few hours earlier...

Hiccup was walking down the corridor and Astrid was walking with him. Suddenly Dagur came up to them and began fighting Hiccup.

"Did you forget Big Brother?" Dagur yelled as he began to throw punches at Hiccup and Hiccup threw them back.

"Hey!" Astrid yelled trying to get their attention, but they weren't listening. Just then a teacher walked out the classroom to see the two boys fighting, but she only saw Hiccup throwing the punches.

"Stay out of this, nerd!" Dagur retorted back at Astrid. This made Astrid boil over the top and she grabs Dagur by the shirt and punches him square in the nose, instantly knocking him out.

Present

So that's how they got there. Granted it wasn't the best way to get into detention but they were lucky that they didn't get excluded.

"I forgot to tell you that you have an amazing right hook!" Hiccup whispered to Astrid. She blushed even harder. Did he just compliment her?

Let's just clear something up. Astrid likes Hiccup, that's clear enough. But they're only friends and that's all that Hiccup seems to want them to be. Imagine how annoying that is for Astrid...

"Don't think that compliment will get you out of this trouble." Astrid joked with Hiccup. He smiled at her. She's really cute when she blushes, Hiccup thought to himself. Hiccup looked to the front of the classroom but then widened his eyes. Did he just think that?!

"OW!" The teacher at the front of the class yelled out. Both of the students eyes darted towards the desk. She had spilled coffee all over her dress. "Oh rats!" she cursed, "I'll be back in a short while, don't move you two!" She warned as she left the classroom.

Hiccup turned to look at Astrid. He had a massive smile upon his face, Astrid exchanged the same smile yet she didn't know why she was.

"What?" Astrid finally asked Hiccup, that is after staring into his eyes for a while.

"Has anyone ever told you how beautiful you are?" Hiccup asked her, he didn't know where this courage had come from and why he was saying this, but he was and there was no going back. Yet he was surprised to see Astrid blushing.

"What?" Astrid asked embarrassed. No one had ever asked her that before, nor even said that she was beautiful. She thought that she was the ugly girl in school. Nor was she one of the popular girls.

"I said--" Hiccup started,

"I know what you said, and no. No one has ever told me that..." Astrid tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. She blushed.

"Well they should more often." Hiccup had moved next to Astrid as she spoke and when he said that, he was practically whispering into her ear. Astrid noticed this and turned to be met with Hiccup's deep, forest green eyes. Suddenly Hiccup pressed his lips against hers, Astrid was stunned at first but then she melted into the kiss.

He was kissing her! Astrid was overjoyed that Hiccup's soft lips were pressing against hers. Hiccup smiled into the kiss and then pushed Astrid from her chair and onto the floor. This excited and shocked Astrid but she didn't mind. She used the opportunity to deepen the kiss Hiccup had created between them. She loved every second of it.

Hiccup ran his tongue along Astrid's bottom, begging for entrance. She gladly accepted and their tongues began an unworldly waltz inside their mouths. Hiccup grabbed the bottom of Astrid's shirt and slid it off, Astrid felt the cold air hit her lips as they parted to get her top off. But they soon connected their lips again. They felt like hungry lions as they tried to devour each other's lips.

Suddenly they heard the familiar footsteps of high heels coming down the corridor. Astrid looked at Hiccup worriedly before he chucked her her top and she quickly put it back on. They rearranged the desks quickly before hopping back into their original seats and sat quietly pretending nothing had happened.

"Nothing happened whilst I was away?" The teacher asked unaware of anything suspicious. Astrid and Hiccup exchanged a look and smiled.

"No, nothing..." They both answered and whilst the teacher sat down Astrid whispered to herself,

"Nothing at all..." But she wore the biggest grin on her face.

That Night...

Astrid was sat on her bed and she couldn't help but thinking about her detention with Hiccup. Did he kiss her just to waste time, or did he actually like her. No. She couldn't think abot this right now. She needed sleep, and a lot of it.

Suddenly she heard a knock. She shook it off as her imagination at first but then it continued. Once she'd had enough she walked over to the window, from where the noise was coming from, and drew back the curtains to see,

"Hiccup?!" Astrid whisper-yelled at him. She then opened her window and saw that he was hanging from her drainpipe that went beside her window. Once she realised this, she quickly pulled him inside and sat on her bed.

"Sorry, Astrid. This couldn't wait." Astrid was curious at what Hiccup meant.

"What couldn't?" She was intrigued. Why couldn't he tell her in the morning.

"Look, that kiss..." Here it comes, Astrid thought. "It was one of the best kisses I've ever had in my life."

"What?!" Astrid's eyes widened. He really thought that?! Not that she was complaining. "Are you, serious?"

"Absolutely." Hiccup nodded, he wouldn't have told anyone else this but he thought he should tell Astrid what he had to say next.

"I'm glad you thought so. It was one of the best ones I've had too." Hiccup smiled at this. Did Astrid really think that?

"Look Astrid, although you may not realise it but..." He sat down beside Astrid and took a deep breath, "I've actually had a crush on you since we first met." Astrid's heart skipped a beat. He liked her?! Astrid couldn't believe it.

"Really?" Astrid asked, blushing madly. Hiccup nodded nervously.

"And now.... Ugh! I'm not good at this." He laughed. He took another deep breath. "Will you... Err... Go out with, me?" He asked nervously. Astrid smiled widely.

"Of course I will you idiot." Astrid smiled wider and gave Hiccup a warm embrace.

This year was gonna be amazing...

Another one done and dusted and I'm finding it hard to find time to write them all!! I hate school sometimes, no wait, all the time!!
