The "Romanda" was much bigger on the inside than on the outside. It had shelves full of chemicals and little rooms, maybe cells, full of weapons.

A lot of people were inside the haven. All of them seemed to be either mixing chemicals, molding steel, or counting the weaponry. I stared at it all in awe, while Ezmerelda walked over to a lady mixing chemicals at a desk. I had never before seen so many weapons in one place! I walked over to a man who seemed to be counting the weapons. He looked young. Maybe 18 or 19 from the looks of it.

Before I could ask him any questions my mind started acting up. My ears started to ring, and my vision blurred. I was on the verge of something... something important.

Then a voice that sounded like a young man's voice said, "Hold on! Don't let go for anything!" I searched my mind thoroughly for whose voice that was, and as the young man turned around, his face didn't transform except into a younger version. His skin was lighter and his hair seemed to grow longer in a matter of seconds. I looked straight into his stunning blue and green hazel eyes that glinted in the light.

"Just hold on for a little bit longer!" He shouted over the strong wind, or was it a current? I looked around myself to find that I was enveloped in a swirling, electrified, blue vortex and I was holding onto the young boy for dear life. We were spinning and the only thing I could focus on was his tranquil eyes. The electricity flowing around us didn't seem to frighten me, just illuminate his beautiful eyes.

I noticed a pulling sensation on my left leg and I looked back to find a young girl, who looked about seven or eight, holding onto my leg ferociously-her long bronze hair whipping wildly in the electric current. I looked again to the boy's eyes to find comfort in the chaos I was enveloped in, but the only thing that I saw was my own reflection in his pupils. I looked exactly like the girl that was now screaming behind me.

* * *

My eyesight returned to normal, and the ringing in my ears stopped, but I was leaning over a table and I think I knocked some of the bottles over, spilling their contents.

I could feel the young scientists staring at me. I turned my head so that he couldn't see the tears in my eyes, and I hoped he would go back to whatever he was doing. His eyes were boring into the back of my head. I tried to keep myself from crying, but I could feel the pressure in my chest building. I could feel his eyes trying to bury into my thoughts, but I refused to let him.

Once the water had dried from my face I turned around to meet his gaze so that he would leave me alone. I looked right into his eyes and saw the same blue and green hazel eyes I had seen a moment ago. They even gleamed in the light. He looked exactly like the brown haired boy in my head, only older, and like the strange girl in the mirror, his eyes mimicked mine.

Am I going insane? I thought.

I took a step back and tripped on something that made me lose my footing. I fell on the ground and spilled some bins of serums by trying to stabilize myself all the while.

"Are you okay?" He asked, as he reached out his hand to help me up.

I felt tears welling up in my eyes, but I didn't know why.

Don't make a scene. I told myself.

I wiped a tear still forming in my eye. "I'm fine." I reassured him. "Just got something in my eye."

"Alright," He sighed. "I'm glad you're alright." His sigh seemed deeper than just the concern for a common stranger.

"Yes. I'm fine.  You just looked familiar for a second there."
