Ezmerelda showed me bunkers one, two, three, four, and five. They all looked about the same. Hardwood or cement floors, metallic walls, and several bunk-beds, the number of beds depending on the bunker.

"Okay." Said Ezmerelda. "This is the last one. You ready?"

"What do I need to be ready for?" I asked. "Anything." She replied flatly.

Ezmerelda nodded her head, and rapped on the door three times. No reply. She knocked again. Still no reply.

"Let me try" I said.

"Okay. Have at it." Ezmerelda replied.

I poked the door, and it opened without me touching the doorknob. I pushed it open and took a few steps forward. Ezmerelda followed me inside.

We were about ten steps inside when the door slammed closed. It was now pitch black. We couldn't see a thing.

"Are you there?" Ezmerelda whispered.

"Yes. I can't see you though. Where are you?" I whispered back.

No reply.

"Ezmerelda?" I called out. Not whispering now. My eyes were starting to adjust to the light when I heard a muffled cry from about one yard away. I rushed towards it, hoping to find Ezmerelda.

"Ezmerelda?" I whispered again, more cautious this time.

I felt a breeze graze my right arm. Then something that felt like cloth rubbed against left hand. My mind was trying to process what was happening. Maybe a shadow-man crept into this room while everyone was eating. Or maybe...

I didn't have time to finish that thought. Something grabbed my arm and flipped me onto my back. I kicked my attacker in the chest and flipped it flat on its back. It grabbed my arm to stop me from punching it, and twisted it. My arm burned with pain, but I kept it pinned. A few seconds later the lights came back on. I looked around for a second trying to find Ezmerelda, and that's when my attacker took advantage of the situation. It grabbed both my hands and jumped back up to a standing position. It pulled my hands behind my back, and kicked the back of my knee. I crumpled to the floor, and tried to protect myself with my back from any more blows.

"Ezmerelda!" I called out.

"No need to shout." Someone replied.

I looked up and saw Ezmerelda, perfectly fine standing in front of me.

"What?" I said, barely managing to breathe it out. "What is going on?"

I looked behind me and saw a tall boy with dark brown hair, and a handsome face that was strong, yet soft at the same time. He had a green tank top on, which showed off his muscular arms, and camouflage pants. He looked like he could be 16 years old, and his eyes were honey brown, with a hint of gold.

He was the boy fighting that monster when I got stuck in the middle of that duel.

"Hmm." I said, with a touch of grudging admiration. "I was wondering who flipped me."

I twisted my hands out of his grasp, and backwards summer-salted between his legs so that I was behind him. I tackled him and put my knee on his back.

"So, if he was one of those monsters, would I have won?" I asked.

"I like this chick." I hear one guy say.

I didn't notice ten people standing in the cabin with us. Six girls and four boys, and they were all staring right at me.

A tall, girl stepped forward. She had blonde hair and brown eyes and she was wearing the same outfit as the boy that I was holding down.
