August 19.

Today is my wedding day.

Mitchell and I are becoming husband and wife today.

At Golden Beach, everyone is here...both of our families combined and Eva and close friends of Mitchell's and mine and, of course, Lorraine.

The wedding is fully ready.

There is a mint green rug trailing down the sandy beach, leading to a desk with the minister standing at.

There are mint green and cream colored flowers pinned on the palm trees.

I'm wearing a cream colored, long, silky dress and Mitchell is wearing a suit matching to my dress.

My hair (which has grown to my shoulders, by the way) is curled and has mint green flowers pinned across the front of it.

My makeup is very natural and minimum; it's almost as if I'm not wearing any makeup at all.

At sharply 5:00 PM, the music comes on, and the wedding begins.

Dad walks me down the aisle.

Behind me, the bridesmaid (Eva) walks down the aisle.

Behind her, the maid of honor (Mom) walks down the aisle.

Behind her, the flower girl (Lorraine) toddles down the aisle, dropping mint green flowers on the ground.

Behind her, the last person, the groom (Mitchell, of course) walks down the aisle.

Mitchell and I are standing only about a foot across from each other.

The minister speaks formally, "I, Mitchell Parker, take you Cassandra Somers, to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part. Say I do."

"I do," Mitchell says, choked up, with tears welled up in his eyes.

"I do," I say, also choked up, with tears welled up in my eyes.

Mitchell slips off my engagement ring and slides on my wedding ring (a pretty silver one with a 6-carat diamond).

"Cassie, I love you."

"Mitchell, I love you too."

We kiss passionately but for only about 30 seconds.

The entire audience, even Lorraine, cheers loudly.

Mitchell and I grin.

We're now officially married.

Mitchell is my husband...

I, Cassandra Nicole Smith, am Mitchell's wife.

We kiss again.

Life has already been great, but now it's amazing...

I'm only 16, I have a husband and a child, but I don't care.

I'm really and truly happy and so is Mitchell and so is Lorraine. If we're all happy, then everything is okay.

When the wedding is over, Mitchell and I hop into his car, and we drive to a hotel on Miami Beach, ready to start our honeymoon.

"I love you, dear husband." I proclaim.

"I love you, dear wife." He proclaims.

We seal our love with a soft, smooth, but heavy and passionate kiss.

My story is over...I got pregnant, gave birth to my child, raised my child, got engaged to Mitchell, and I am now married to Mitchell.

My story is over.

The End!
