Chapter 6

~Dani P.O.V.~

School was finally over and I went to my locker to grab my stuff. "Hey Dani I can't take you home today. " I looked at Charnae confused. "Unless you wanna stay here with me until 6." I rolled my eyes.

"Okay I'll see you tomorrow Nae." She gave me a side hug and walked away I took a deep breath and walked through the school doors and let the cool breeze hit my face as I started to walk home that would take about me about 10 minutes to get there.

As I was walking I felt someone behind me so sped up not bother even looking back I heard their footsteps get closer so I started speeding up then I felt myself bump into someone almost making me fall but they caught me.
"You Alright D ?" I looked behind me and saw someone look at me then turn around and walk away I turned back around to see Cj looking at me worried.

"Yeah I'm fine." I moved out his grip as I tried to go around him but he grabbed me again causing me To tense up at his touch.

"No you not, What's wrong ?" He looked me in my eyes and I looked down.

"Nothing Cj." I tried to get out his grip again but he tightened it. " I gotta get home."

"Tell me what's wrong. " I didn't say anything I just looked down and he sighed in frustration and let me go and I quickly walked away.

~Cj P.O.V.~

I was outside by my boy house chilling with him but he went inside and I seen Dani speed walking as she looked scared so I jumped in front of her and she almost fell but I grabbed her before she could she turned around and I looked up and saw a nigga staring her down but then he walked off.

After she walked away Kendalin rolled up next to me. "Get in we going to the trap. " I walked over to the other side and got in.

"Why we going to the trap ?" He shrugged and looked at his phone with one hand on the steering wheel.

We walked in the trap and saw everybody sitting there "Wassup Boss." Our Boss name was J he watched put for Dre and us when we were all younger and now were his best men.

"We gotta go bust up a Trap right quick." He put a blunt in his mouth and took a hit and blew the smoke out his nose "Go get strapped and hurry up " We all got up. "Trey ! Come here " Trey looked at me then walked off to J I wonder what he wanted.

~Brooke P.O.V.~

I walked up my driveway and turned cars wasn't there a breath a relief came out as I walked inside A night where I don't have to deal with a fist punching my face or a foot kicking my stomach or a wall meeting my face I walked to my room and kicked off my shoes and sat on my bed and started on homework.

I didn't even know I fell asleep but I woke up hours later it was even dark outside so I got up and went to the bathroom and started the shower I stripped out my clothes and hopped in th's shower and let the hot water sting my body as it hit me.

I got out and put on a t shirt with some shorts and I walked back to my room when I felt my phone vibrate from an unknown number.

"Hello "

"This Brooke "

"Yeah, Whose this"

"Maurice "

"How you get my number "

"I got my ways but tomorrow let's skip school and chill "

"I can't and I'm not "

"Why not "

"Because, And why do you wanna chill with me so bad " It went quiet and I heard shuffling

"Never mind, I gotta go." Then he hung up

~Maurice P.O.V.~

I don't know why I wanna chill with her but it's like I wanna figure something out about her cause she so mysterious and shy and I wanna get close to her and break down her wall.

"Maurice." I heard somebody yell downstairs and I went down there to see Kendalin, Cj and Trey on my couch.

"What the hell y'all want ?"

"We got bored so we came to mess with you." I shook my head and sat in my chair.

"Aye Trey what Boss wanted " Trey started smiling when Cj asked that

"Starting next week I'm new gang leader " He smiled bigger and Kendalin jumped up

"What ?! Hol up " He started pacing the floor and we was all laughing "You telling me you about to be gang fucking leader "

"Yes Kendalin that's what I'm saying " Trey chuckled and he couldn't even stop smiling cause he was to happy

"Nahh me and boss gotta have a talk "

"Kendalin why would you be gang leader cause just a month ago you was so fucking high you went to a police station trying to rob it " I bust out laughing and that memory of Kendalin cursing at the police trying to shoot them

"Man fuck y'all and that weed was good ass hell " He shook his head and sat down
