~Dani P.O.V ~

I laughed as Cj was telling me random things about him "Boy you is crazy. " I shook my head and smiling and took a sip of my drink

"I wanna know something,  and you gotta be completely honest with me. " I nodded at him "Why you so paranoid,  it's like one minute you fine next minute I can't even touch you without you snapping on me telling me not to touch you. " I didn't know how to respond to that I didn't want to tell him what's going on but I kinda think I have to

"Cj -"

I was cut off by Drew coming beside me smiling big "Well if it isn't Danielle " He looked at me with hungry eyes and I quickly looked down

"Who he? " Cj asked as he scanned Drew then looked back at me

"I'm not yo concern. " Drew snapped at him and Cj automatically stood up making me jump

"Cj He's nobody " my voice started to shake as I tried to talk and I can tell he sensed it

"Why you acting all scared around this nigga? " Cj pointed at Drew but kept his gaze on me

"Dont worry about it,  this is buisness between me and her " He roughly grabbed my arm making me wimper in pain

"Let her go. " Cj growled at him but he only smirked and stared at Cj

"Or what? " He challenged Cj

Cj pulled out his gun on Drew,  People started to run out of way of the scene "Let her go " Cj said through his teeth,  Drew chuckled and let me go pushing me towards Cj

"She won't always be by you. " And with that Drew walked off,  I rubbed my arm that still stung when Drew grabbed me

"Who was that ?" Cj asked as he put his gun back in his waist band

"Nob-"

"Dani don't fucking tell me no lie " Tears started to fall. I started to tell him everything the day my Mom died till now "Why didn't you just tell me "

"Cause i didn't want you to get hurt and get in the middle of my shit " I looked down and he grabbed my chin making me look in his eyes

"I can take care of myself Dani , if you needed help you could have came to me " Tears kept falling "I can get a hit out on that nigga and he'll be gone next morning "

I didn't know what to say so I just wrapped my arms around him and he pulled me closer to him "Thank you Cj "

"I got you baby " he kissed my forehead

~Months Later ~

I haven't heard from Drew in Months and I couldn't be happier, Cj even gave me money to put my Grandma in the hospital and but my lil bro some new clothes

"I can't wait to see Where we going for the trip " Charnae was too happy right now,  I never seen so happy like this

"Wassup Y'all " Kendalin came over to us and swung his arm over Charnae

"Hey " We all said at once then all the guys came over to us, Well except Trey he just kept walking

"What's been up with him? " I asked Alexa but she ignored me and walked off "Never mind then"

We went to class and sat in our usual Seats and waited for the teacher try to come in "Hello class " She smiled at us as she went to the front "Are you guys ready to know Where you guys are going in a week "

"Hell Yeah " We said and she laughed

"Alright Alright... were going.. " She looked around at us smiling as she looked at III ur anxious faces "Drumroll please " We groaned but started to beat on the desk "Were going to... California " We all stared to get excited as people dapped their friends

"We leave Sunday and stay for 2 weeks so get ready and pack everything you need " She stared at us that made us laugh

I can't wait for this trip
