Chapter 27

~Dani P.O.V.~

~Prom Night ~

I laughed as I watched Charnae fresh out because she 'thinks' she gained a pound. "Nae chill you still look slim." Brooke tried to assure her.

"Slim?! I'm freaking fat. " She yelled.  I laughed and she glared at me. 

"You look pretty to me Nae. " Alexis smiled at her. 

Charnae faced changed. "Aw,  thanks babe. " She gave her a kiss on the cheek. 

"When I say you look fine you yell at me but when a 4 year old says it it's all good." Brooke scoffed and shook her head.

"It's okay Brooky. " Alexis gave her a hug. 

"Aw,  thanks babe." She smiled and hugged her back. 

"Hello Ladies. " Charnae Dad greeted us with a smile.

"Hey." We all said at once. 

"Can I just say something. " Everybody turned to Alexa. "When I imagined hearing you talk I didn't think your voice would be so...Deep. " She chuckled and so did he.

"And I wanna apologize for that. I'm sorry I didn't greet you guys when you said something to me. "

"You good. " I told him,  The rest of the girls nodded in agreement.  Someone knocked on the door and we all turned to Charnae. 

"What?  My Dad is right there by the door. " He laughed and went to open the door. His Mistress walked in smiling. 

"Hi girls. "

"Hi. " We said in unison.

She turned to Charnae.  "I want to properly introduce myself since the last time we met wasn't the best first impression.  I'm Morgan. " She stuck her hand out.  We all looked at Charnae to see what she was going to do because she is very unpredictable. 

Nae smiled and shool her hand. "I'm Charnae,  and it's a pleasure to meet you. " Our jaws nearly dropped. 

"I'm sorry about your paren-"

"No,  I want to thank you for making that happen for making this happen. " Charnae smiled big. I never seen her look so happy before except when she was with Kendalin. 

She laughed. "Um,  Your Welcome? " She looked at us. "You girls are really pretty,  especially you little one. " She pinched Alexis cheeks. 

"Thank you. " Alexis laughed out.

"Thanks and I'm Alexa. "

"Dani. "

"Brooke. "

"Nice to meet all of you. " She smiled at us and so did Charnae.

We walked inside the prom decorated place. "Wow." I said in amazement. 

"This looks beautiful. " Brooke smiled looking around.

"So do you. " We all turned around to a smiling Marurice and Cj. Maurice grabbed Brooke hand and dragged her away.

"Come on. " Cj grabbed my hand and dragged me away.

~Alexa P.O.V.~

"And then there were two." Charnae chuckled. I knew she missed Kendalin she just won't admit it.

"Yea-"

"Charnae right? " We both looked at this tall brown skinned boy. For the record he was sexy.

"Yeah, Why? " She looked him up and down.

"I'm Malcolm, I always had a crush on you but you were always with your friends then you started dating Kendalin so I couldn't really get to you. " He shyly smiled. That was so cute I never seen a guy so shy before.

"How come I never seen you before ?" Charnae asks.

"I'm really quiet and laid back so I don't really be out there like that. " He smiled at her.

She smiled back. "You would pick when were about to graduate to finally talk to me."

"Maybe you guys are going to the same college. " I smiled at them shrugging. 

Nae looked at him and raised her eyebrow. "Lamar. " She smiled.

"I guess it's our lucky day,  I'm going there to. " He smiled big and grabbed her hand.

"Dance ?" He asks. She nodded and they both walked away.

"Forever Alone." I said to myself as I watched all my friends dance with their boyfriends or new friends. 

"Wassup Ma. " Trey came up beside me.

"What you doing here? " I didn't expect him to be here.

"I came to see everybody dressed up and excited about showing off they look and watch them take pictures. " He chuckled.

"Really? Me too. " I laughed and shook my head.

"You do look good though. " He looked me up and down licking his lips. 

"I know. " I smirked and ran my tongue over my red lipstick. 

"Dance or Nah? " I turned to him with a smirk on my face.

"Nah. " He looked at me confused. "Did you expect me to forget all the hell you made me go through for blurting my secret out to everybody and just dance with you because it's a special night ?"

"Yeah , I actually did."

"Well No,  you made me realize I can't trust you and if I don't trust you I don't want to deal with you. This isn't a movie Trey I'm not about to jump into your arms because you realized your mistakes and is sorry. Don't double cross me and expect my heart in return. " I chuckled.  "Bye Trey. " I walked away from him more than satisfied. 

~Kendalin P.O.V.~

"Why you ain't go to prom Ken? " One of my boys asks as he passed me the blunt.

"I ain't with that dress up dance shit." I took a drag and passed it along.

"You was suppose to go to apologize to Charnae. " Another boy laughed. I shook my head

"Nah Man,  this ain't no fairytale I ain't about to dress up and get in my car and race to the prom and get there seeing her dancing with her friends then I get on stage and pour my heart out and she cries and runs on stage and kisses me and we live happily ever after. " I shrugged.

"It's scary how you knew that." Malik said. Everybody was looking at me crazy. 

"It's kind of what always happens in these situations."

"I guess but with Charnae ass I'd do anything to just to be next to her fine ass. " They all started laughing.

"Yeah,  I'm pretty sure. " I took a drag and shook my head letting the smoke fill my lungs then I blow it out my nose. 

I ain't gon' say times with Charnae wasn't fun cause it was but we ain't people that needs to be together and plus my feelings weren't mutual like hers.
