Chapter 24

~Brooke P.O.V.~

~Few Days Later ~

I got up of out the bed and walked downstairs too see Maurice sitting on the couch watching T.v. "Hey. " I spoke. He turned to me and smoled.

"Wassup. " He siganled for me to come sit by him. "You Okay ? " I nodded. After they released me from the hospital Maurice literally made me come live with him. He had some of his guys take out my step-dad. 

I sat next to him. "What made you come to my house? " I asked.

He shrugged. "Something just told me go to Brooke. " He looked me in my eyes and interwined our fingers. "I'm glad I did, I can't imagine anyone hurting you Brooke your so funny and always giggling about anything and when I saw you like that it was like something snapped in me."

I looked down."I wanted to tell you and my friends but I was too scared."

"Scared of what?" I shrugged. I didnt know. "Look I'm here now that mean nobody and I mean nobody gon' hurt you Ma and if they do then hell gon' break loose. " I smiled and looked at me.

"I never had no one protect me. "

"Well now you got me. " He stared in my eyes.  I looked at his vibrant eyes,  He looked at my lips then back at my eyes.  He grabbed my chin and pulled me in for a kiss.

He put his hands on my lowerback and scooted me closer to him. I strattled on top of him and cupped his cheeks. He pulled back and smiled at me. "Why you stop? "

"Because you gon' start something that you can't finish. " I blushed and got from on top of him.

~Dani P.O.V.~

Ever since my Grandma died my life has been a little better.  Charnae is helping me and when without any complaints. She told me and Brooke about her parents. So me and Brooke told our secrets to them.

It feels goody actually get the stuff off our cheats to eachother. "Wassup Bae." Cj wrapped his arms around my waist.  After our talk in the hospital,  The girls literally made me sit down and talk to him. He helps me out to , Way more than Charnae. 

"Nothing,  But I can't wait for Prom. " Prom was literally days away and I couldn't wait. Charnae said she was gonna help pay for me, but Cj said otherwise and gave me more money than needed.

"I know that's all you and the girls been talking about for the longest. " He chuckled and shook his head. 

"Well. " I laughed and gave him a kiss. "I haven't heard from Trey or Kendalin in a while. " Ever since that trip they have been really distant. 

"They coo' they just.." He trailed off and shrugged. "I don't know how to explain it. "

"Are they gonna apologize to them or even go to prom and suprise them."

"Honestly Trey might apologize but He not with prom stuff but I think He going for the hell of it.But Kendalin He would never apologize to a female no matter what He do and He hates to dress up He would literally go to a funeral in a plain white shirt with ripped jeans. "

"Seriously? "

"Kendalin don't give a fuck , So I seriously doubt He going to prom just because he don't have to."

"Has he even apologized to Charnar yet." She hates talking about it so we don't bring it up unless she does. 

"I doubt it, like I said Kendalin don't apologize to females for shit ." That's crazy.

"I guess,  but what color are we going to where? " I asks withe excitement taking over my body all over again.

"How about we don't go,  we just chill-"

"No. " I pouted and got on top of him. "C'mon Cj. " I whined.

He laughed and put his hands on my waist. "Blu-"

"No to Blue Or Red. " He sucked his teeth and shook his head.

"Then I don't know what to tell you girl. " He laughed. 

"Cj-" He cut me off by grabbing the back of my neck and pulling me in for a kiss.

He pulled away and stared in my eyes. "Shut up. " He chuckled. I hit his hard chest playfully. 

"Whatever. " I was about to get up but he pulled me back down. "Let me go." I giggled.

"Nope,  I like this position." He bit his bottom lip making me giggle. I moved my a littleand he gripped my waist. "You gon' start something. " He growled. 

"Mm. " I chuckled and attempted to get up again but once again he pulled me back down. "You must want somethin' to happen." I chuckled.

"Maybe ." He tried to kiss me but I doged his lips and kissed his neck.  He made a grunt sound I guess once I hit his spot. I kissed along his jaw-bone to his collar-bone. I stood up and he looked at me crazy. I looked down at his budge and giggled. 

"Should have let me get up. " I walked away from him. He was yelling something at me as I walked away.
