Nobody Knows

Chapter 20

~Dani P.O.V.~

Everyone slowly got on the bus as we made our way to our seats.  Alexa and Charnae were getting stares from everybody right now , They tried to ignore them but it wasn't that easy especially with Charnae she hates attention ,she hates the wrong attention more. "Why won't they stop staring at me? " She shook her head as she covered her face

"It's okay. " I looked over at Brooke comforting Alexa. "It's gonna blow over." She sniffled a little as she leaned on my shoulder

"I have a feeling it won't ." She spoke softly as she cried a little more

~Brooke P.O.V.~

Alexa has a baby ? and It's Alexis?  That shocked the hell out of me.  "Why didn't you tell us ?"

She shrugged. "I didn't want anyone to know. " She bit her lip. "I didn't want anyone to talk about me in the wrong way. "

"Alexa people talk about you regardless it's just how you react to it. " She looked at me with tears forming in her eyes. "Who's Alexis daddy? "

A tear fell out her eyes as she looked down. "Desmond ." She spoke softly.  My eyes went wide as she said that

"Desmond?  Really?  How did his ass get you to-"

"I was young I thought getting a seniors attention was the best thing then everything started to fall apart when I got pregnant,  He didn't know but he after a while he started to slowly leave me alone and mess with another freshman. " She started to cry more. " I didn't want to tell him cause then everybody would be saying it's not true or I'm just accusing him looking for a baby Daddy so I kept it to my self. "

"That's why you went away for those months,  to hide it ." She slowly nodded.

"I didn't want anyone to know. "

"How did Trey find out? " I asked , she took a deep breath and closed her eyes

"I told him." she shook her head "Which was a mistake. " she mumbled to herself

"Does Desmond know? " She nodded "You tol-"

"Trey told him just like he told the whole school. " She rolled her eyes and tried to hold her tears. "I'm scared that Alexis will find out, I don't want her to find out that I'm her mother and that I've been passing her as my sister her whole life ."

"She's gotta know Alexa,  you gotta tell her one day just not right now cause she's too young to understand. " She nodded.  The bus started to pull off Alexa leaned her head on my shoulder as she thinking about everything .

~Charnae P.O.V.~

I walked in my house with tears streaming down my face I dragged my feet on the floor hoping I would get any kind of acknowledgement from anybody in this house. My mom starting walking downstairs with her eyes buried in her phone. I stood there hoping she would look up at me and actually comfort me. "Mom." I spoke quietly as hot tears were still falling

She finally looked up at me and saw that my face was red and that I had been crying. But that didn't do anything she still ignored me as she always does and walked past me. Why don't my parents love me ? Why don't anyone love me ?  either I'm a burden on someone or I'm just bet and nothing more.  I hate my life and no one knows it. 

~Alexa P.O.V.~

I shut my eyes and quietly walked in the house and didn't see anyone in the living room.  I put my stuff down and plopped down on the couch and put my head in my hands and let tears fall . Why did I have to let him get in my head?  Why did him giving me attention have to go to my head?  all I wanted was to keep his attention but that didn't last long

"Lexa. " Alexis came running in and jumped on me and hugged me. "I missed you. " She pulled back but stopped smiling when she looked at my face. "What's wrong? "

I forced a smile. "Nothing baby." She frowned and wiped my tears away with her small hands

"Don't cry. " She told me.  I pulled her into a hug and held her tight

"I'm sorry baby. " I whispered in her ear.
