Chapter 10

~The Next Day~

~Brooke P.O.V.~

I got to school extra late today My step Dad beat me cause the baby kept crying through the night so it took me a while to cover the bruises I had on my face this morning

"Hey Brooke " I jumped back almost dropping the baby I looked up and saw Maurice laughing at me

"That's not funny I almost drop this baby " I shook my head and closedy locker shut and fixed the baby bag around my shoulder

"It kinda was " He started walking beside me "How was the baby last night " I shook my head at the thought of my Dad beating me cause of this project

"For now on today baby is going with you at nights " He chuckled and shook his head

"That bad huh? " I nodded my head and rolled my eyes "But alright I don't mind "

"Good cause you didn't have a choice " He looked at me crazy and I giggled

"We haven't even went out on a real date yet and you already telling me what to do " I laughed and he shook his head "That's a shame " We stopped in front of my class and I handed him the baby "See you after class "

"Mhmm " I opened the door and walked in and gave the teacher my past and went to my seat

"I saw you with Maurice girl " This girl turned around to me and said

"So " I stared to take my things out and prepare for class

"I'm just saying girl them thugs ain't somebody you wanna be messing with " I rolled my eyes

"Were just friends so chill " She smirked and just shook her head

"That's what they all say " I mugged her and she turned around with a smirk on her face

~Dani P.O.V.~

I swear I'm gonna kill this baby It keeps crying and everyone keeps looking at me like Im doing it on purpose

I raised my hand "Can I leave " She nodded and I grabbed my stuff and walked out to the hallway with this crying baby "Where is Cj " I mumbled to myself

This baby been crying Since this morning and it hasn't stopped at all I haven't seen him all day and I'm tired of this baby

"Wassup Dani " I turned around and Smoke was walking towards me He worked for Drew and loved to harrass me right along with Drew and his crew

"What Smoke " I rolled my eyes at him and the screaming baby in my hand

"Just wanted to come mess with you real quick " He walked closer to Me and I took steps backwards

"Smoke just leave me alone today " I kept taking steps back until I felt someone behind me I turned around and it was another one of Drew guys

"Wassup girl " He licked his lips at me "You know Drew getting tired of waiting on his money " He stepped closer to me and the baby stopped crying Seriously at this moment it wants to shut up

"I'll have his money-"

Smoke cut me off by putting me against the locker making me drop the baby "When " His eyes went dark as he stared at me

I swallowed hard as I looked at him "I don't know " The other boy chuckled and I looked at him

"You know Drew wanted to kill you but I said No cause I thought " He got real close to me " we could have some fun together " He bit down on his lip as he observed my body

"Mike stop " Smoke told him and Mike smacked his lips and looked at him

"Come on Man I know you wanna have some fun with her too " Mike stroked cheek and I moved away from him and he roughly grabbed my face "Don't move away from me " His eyes went dark as he stared down hard at me

The bell rung and they let me go and walked away I was trying my best not to cry I bit my lip hard trying to hold in my tears that were threatening to fall

"Are you okay " I heard someone ask me I picked up the baby and quickly went to the restroom before anyone could see the tears falling out my eyes

~Charnae P.O.V.~

I walked out of class and Kendalin crying next to me and took my backpack and put it around his shoulder and put his arm around me

"Wassup Girl " He smiled at me and I turned Red

"Nun " Girls looked at us and mugged us as we walked past them "Where the baby at " He took the baby yesterday and I just noticed he didn't have it with him

"At home " I stopped and looked at him

"You do know we have to have that baby in class today right? " He shrugged and we started walking again

"We'll wing it " He shrugged and I shook my head at him

I sat in life science hoping the teacher don't notice that we don't have the baby "Where your baby Nae " Alexa asked me as she chuckled

"Kendalin left it at home " She laughed and I shook my head

"You lucky she not checking babies today " I sighed a breath of relief and smiled a lil

"Good cause I can't fail this class " She laughed and shook her head

Someone came through the door and we all turned our heads to them It was Dani coming in looking like she been crying she ignored the stares people gave her and sat in her seat

"Are you okay D " Brooke asked her and Dani just nodded at her and slouched down in her desk

"You sure " I asked and she nodded again and took her headphones out and put them in her ear and put her head down

"Aye I can't watch the baby tonight " Trey came and told Alexa and she looked at him confused

"Why not " She asked and he took a deep breath

"Cause I just can't Alexa " He walked away and she just rolled her eyes at him

~Alexa P.O.V.~

I walked in my apartment and Alexis ran up to me "Hey Lexa " Again smiled at me then lookinf at the baby

"Is that my new toy " I chuckled and shook my head

"No sorry it's a project for school " She nodded then I put the baby down and went in the kitchen "what you want to eat Lexis " She didn't say nothing so I looked in the living room and saw her messing with the baby

The baby started crying and she moved back and covered her ears "Why is it crying " She yelled over the baby and I groaned and walked over to it and picked it up and grabbed the bottle but it woulnt shut up then my Mom came out her room and looked at me pissed

"Alexa-"

I cut her off before she could say something "I know " I yelled at her and she glared at me

"Then shut it up " She growled at me before walking back to her room I rolled my eyes and looked at Alexis

"Why is she so mean to you " I shook my head

"You don't need to know that reason " She looked at me confused but I gave her the baby and it shut up and Alexis smiled and I went to the kitchen and just watched Alexis play with the baby

I never thought I would be in that position to where I have to hide it
