Sparks of The End

Chapter 9

Lalna P.O.V.

   I stood in the door way of Zoey's room. A large hospital bay had been established to take care of the injured. When Lalna walked fully into the room Zoey opened one bright blue eye to look at him. When she realized who it was she opened both eyes and sat up.

  "Thank goodness, I thought you'd all left me here." She had a small smile on her face. Lalna chuckled, "No way, the dinosaur probably wouldn't have let us, but besides that it would be boring without you." He said going over and sitting on her bed. "The nurse told me you guys had a meeting?" Zoey asked, and Lalna nodded.

  "Mostly to talk about the 'Ender' problem." Zoey visually flinched. "And?" She asked after a moment, he sighed."We decided that if any of us are to be in battle near Ender we are allowed to attack and harm." He replied, a look of horror spread across Zoey's face.

"Are you nuts?" she screamed at him, "All he has is amnesia! And you're going to murder him because of it?" Lalna looked at her started and then grabbed both of her hands in an attempt to comfort her and calm her down. In which she pulled them out of his grasp and narrowed her eyes.

   "Zoey, can you just trust me?" He said, looking into her blue eyes. He was pleading her but her face just mirrored disgust. "Maybe I would if you hadn't put a nuke under my castle. Get out." She hissed, the loving, beautiful, and gentle face that he couldn't have stopped feeling attracted to turned to anger.

  Lalna wouldn't budge, "Zoey, please, this is the best possible answer. What if he killed you?"She slapped her hand across his face, "You act like he's some kind of monster." She growled, her anger wouldn't just boil anyway. "Zoey," he said with aspiration, "he is a monster." Lalna said getting up from her bed, and looking down at her.

  She got on her knees, still on the bed, her eyes looked red as if she was on the brink of tears. "You have in no right, to say that about him," she shouted at him. And the tears started dripping down her cheeks. Lalna let out a small sigh and wrapped his arms around her. She at first tried to fight him with shoving and kicking but her strength was slowly fading.

  He just held her, as she cried into his shoulder. Whispering things like, "It's all my fault." or "Why didn't I snap him out of it?" He just stroked her hair for what seemed like hours, but Lalna didn't mind.

Xephos P.O.V. :33

  Xephos pulled his fingers through his hair as he shared a distrested look with Lomadia. Zoey's outrage had been heard even back at the clearing where the group had gathered. Xephos almost pitied Lalna, poor man had to deal with a bucket full of rage. 

  "I wish I could just snap my fingers together and fix everything." Lomadia sighed and blew a piece of hair out of her face. Honeydew petted his beard and huffed. "I wish you could too, but all we can do now is contuie you forward." Xephos repiled, watching her. 

   "Yeah, yeah, I know." Her gaze drifted over the trees and into the sky. "Maybe if we captured Ender we could-?" Honeydew started to suggest but Xephos shook his head. "Theres no chance that that would even be easy in anyway. He can teleport, 'Dew." Xephos looked at him with an eyebrow raised. 

   They were silent for a long time, mosty becuase if anyone suggested anything someone else would shoot it down. For good reason of corse, there was just no simple answer to this equation. The three of them really didn't want to hurt Rythian, but if he was now the mysterious Ender they wouldn't have much chance in changing his mind. 

  "Well," Lomadia said getting up with a sigh, "I'm kicking Lalna out of her room and we'll have girl talk." Xephos smirked at her, and Honeydew chuckled. "Don't look at he like that." She warned, as she turned around to gather up Minty and Keayi. 

  "Oh my god, your so lucky." Honeydew laughed looking at his friend. Xephos rose an eyebrow in confusion, Honeydew looked back at him cluelessly. Tehn Xephos scrached his neck in embrassment. "Yeah..." He agreed finally then put a finger to his lips, "Don't tell anyone aything okay?" 

  This made Honeydew's laughing turn into giggles, "Like everyone doesn't already know, Xeph you stayed with her the entire night, and the morning." Xephos smaked the dwarfs arm, "Shut up." They started laughing again together, as they took swishs of water and joked around. 

  Just like the good old days.
