Lydia had been keeping herself distant from Elijah ever since a week ago, when her headaches got the best of her.
She hadn't spoken, seen or heard of Elijah, since she never left her room.
The 5'3 girl wanted to keep her distance from her lover so she didn't harm him.
Lydia was unpredictable, like a firecracker. She never knew when certain things were going to happen, but she always knew when someone was dying.
Being an omen if death isn't the best. Lydia had continuous voices in her head, and a lot of headaches back in Beacon Hills, and so hearing them here wasn't good for her.
As much as she missed Elijah's touch, and his voice, she couldn't gather the courage to leave her room.
The banshee was a frustrated mess. Her hair was tied in a messy bun, as she wore one of his shirts, and a pair of fluffy socks.
Since no one even entered her room, she wore the simple shirt, that barely covered the bottom half of her thighs.
Elijah was, and can be possessive at times, Lydia knew this. But it was rare to see him possessive before Lydia showed up.
Admittedly, Elijah did care for his friends and family, but was never possessive. But when Lydia showed up, he had the urge to keep her safe and protected, all while love her and keep her away from others.
Lydia had sprawled out on the bed, her green eyes stared up at the ceiling, as a knock at the door interrupted her thoughts.
"Lydia." It was Elijah.
"Go away Elijah." Her tone was firm but the two of them knew she didn't mean it.
"I won't go away, Lydia. What's wrong? Have I done something?" He asked, stepping forward.
"No, you haven't done anything." Lydia said, as Elijah frowned.
"Then what is it?" He asked, as Lydia shook her head profoundly.
"You don't understand! It's so hard to stay away from you when I'm trying to stop myself from harming you or others! I'm trying so hard to stay away from you but I can't! I love you, Elijah! And -"
Lydia was cut of by Elijah hugging her tightly. "It's okay. Don't get worked up over something that isn't true. You know you won't hurt me." He said calmly, his hand holding the back of her head while his arm was wrapped around her waist.
