You Shouldn't Have Fallen For Me (BEN Drowned love story)

Chapter 1

AGE 6

"Best friends forever, okay?" he asked

"Of course, Ben forever and ever!" I exclaimed. We ran in when my mom finished baking cookies.

"Yay the cookies are done!" he yelped, excitedly. My mom placed the plate down and we started eating. I looked over at my friend and smiled.

"What?" he asked with one eyebrow raised.

"I'm glad I have you as a friend, even if you aren't a girl." I said happily.

He laughed,"You too, even if you're not a boy." He smiled and looked down, "You know we will get married some day right?" he asked.

"I know I've been planning it for a while." I said and smiled back at him.

We were so happy back then, but I didn't really know what happened to him. I never saw him after about 2 years. I thought about him almost every day and I felt like he will be waiting at my doorstep, just waiting for me to get up at 1:00pm, the time I always got up because of my bad sleep schedule, ready to play. I always wished he could come back.

Is it odd that I consistently thought of him every day? Did I think of him because we had such a strong bond as children? I mean, we really were inseparable. We were bonded at hip. We wouldn't do anything without eachother, so it would make sense that I still thought about him right?

We had these best friend necklaces, and we always wore them under our shirts like it was our little secret. Most kids always made jokes about us being in love since we hung out so much. It was pretty obnoxious, so that's why we hid them. I wear the necklace, still hidden under my shirt.

I kinda went into a small depression after he left and started to be very antisocial. My dad dying of cancer when I was 10 didn't really help. I opened up my personality more in high school though.

12 YEARS LATER

On my birthday, I finally got my first computer. You're probably thinking that 18 is really old to get your first computer right? Well blame my mom.

All my friends have a website where we chat, and it didn't start out well.

TALIA-

I saw you at Danny's party

SEXYBEAST-

Ya... I kinda figured you did..

TALIA-

I slammed my computer shut and clutched my pillow close to my chest. I couldn't believe it when I saw him making out with some random girl. Happy Birthday to freaking me! I tucked my dyed purple hair behind my ear and sobbed into my pillow for I dont know how long until a message notification made my computer ring.

TALIA-

Who r u?

BENNYPOO-

An old friend.

TALIA-

Wait! how do u know im crying?!O_o

BENNYPOO-

Wow, I thought you would catch on sooner, but if you must know I'm watching you right now.

I quickly grabbed my phone, about to call 911 because of how freaked out I was.

BENNYPOO-

I really wouldn't do that if I were you. Go on, hit the call button, but only if you're feeling frisky (;

TALIA-

Please leave me alone

What's with the sad face I just wanted to have a little fun with you. You would think you would be nicer to your husband.

TALIA-

Wait what? Husband?
