Chapter 5

I drove back home to pack all my stuff. My mom gave me two suitcases and started pack. I packed all my clothes, bed sheets, shoes, and they surprisingly all fit in three suitcases. I glanced at my laptop, then smiled and put it in my suitcase along with the charger. When I finally finished packing, I stuffed the suitcases in my trunk and drove back to the apartment and Chris help me take them inside.

I hung up all my clothes and put all my shoes in the closet. I put my lamps on each side of drawers. I covered my bed in the sheeting and put the pillows in my pillow cases. I put down my computer at my desk when I was all done I lay down on my bed exhausted.

"Hey Talia, I'm going to the store need anything?" He asked knocking on the door.

"A nap" I groaned tiredly. He chuckled and walked out, locking the door.

I fell into a deep sleep, but it didn't last long when I heard footsteps outside of my door. I yawned and looked up at my clock only 5 minutes had passed. I widened my eyes, knowing that it wasn't Chris.

My door slowly opened. I guy who had orange goggles and a mask type thing around his mouth was revealed. He had pale skin and dark eyes. He had brown messy hair and wore jeans and a brown hoodie with stripes on his arms and 2 hatchets in his hand.

"Hi!" he said joyfully

"Ticci Toby." I stuttered.

"Thats me!"

I sighed, "You're here to kill me aren't you?"

"Yes I am!"

I stared at him for a while not moving. Then he jumped at me and I rolled off my bed.

"Toby, we can work this out! I bet we have pancakes and waffles." I stuttered nervously.

He took off his goggles and mask and gave me a blank stare then smiled. "Okay!" he said as he hid his hatchets away.

Wow, really? I didn't think it would be that easy.

"Hey, Talia, can we go to a breakfast place? Can we? Can we?" he looked at me with hopeful eyes as he cracked his neck.

"How do you know my name? I questioned.

"Slender told me. So can we?

"You mean Slenderman. The giant faceless dude who kills people in the woods."

"Yeah, that's the guy. So are we going or not?" he asked impatiently.

I wasn't about to say no to him. "Uh, I guess?"

"Awesome!" he exclaimed.

"Alright, um just let me get my keys." I said quickly waking around him. I picked up my keys from the kitchen table and looked over at the knife block. Toby wandered around the living room aimlessly.

'I could stab him.' I thought to myself. I slowly put one foot in front of the other. Before I grabbed a knife I looked over my shoulder once again to make sure he wasn't paying attention to me. To my surprise, he was right behind me.

"Watcha doing?" he inquired cheerfully.

I swore my soul left my body, "Nothing, lets go." I said so quickly, it sounded like it could be one word.

Once we got outside, I unlocked my car. He took no time at all to hop right in. I sat down, put my seatbelt on, and grabbed ahold of my steering wheel. I took a deep breath. "It's gonna be okay." I whispered to myself.
