Chapter 8

Last night felt like 8 months. Thats how slow it went. I killed 4 people. But the weird thing about is was... it kinda felt good. It felt right. I felt in control. Right as I swung my flail, I had a tingling sensation in my hands. My knees felt shaky but firm. If that makes sense, but I didn't feel like me when I did it. I felt like an entirely different person. Is that what BEN felt like every time he killed?

"Chris?" I knocked on his door.

"C-come in." He replied lowly.

I walked in to see him sitting in a corner, looking like he just saw a ghost....or a murderer. "Hey Chris..... uh you don't have to be freaked about BEN. He won't hurt you." I said reassuringly.

"Murderer.."

Oh god, I broke him!

"You'll uh.. get used to it." I said slowly walking out of his room.

"Yeah, theres no getting back to him." I said to BEN after I closed Chris's door.

"Just give me a couple seconds alone with him." He said.

When he closed the door behind him all I heard was a piercing scream.

A couple if seconds later BEN walked out and said "He's okay now."

I looked in Chris's room and he just walled out and happily said "Hey Talia!" then walked past me.

"What?" I said to myself. You know what? I don't even care.

"Hey guys I'm gonna go take a walk." I said walking outside. Before either of them could answer I shut the door behind me.

I feel like it's not a good idea to leave BEN alone with Chris but, whats the worst that can happen?

I walked and took in the air. I walked into the woods to hear birds chirping and squirrels made...squirrel sounds. But after a couple of seconds they all just stopped. Everything was suddenly silent. Now all I could hear were twigs snapping behind me.

My eyes widened and I looked behind me to see Jeff the Killer.

"Hey Talia, miss me?"

"J-Jeff." I stuttered.

He walked closer to me "Yep, I'm here to finish my job."

"But, Slender said-"

"This is besides what Slender said. I really don't care what he said. Thinking of someone like you stabbing or hurting me infuriates me! So now I'm here to finish you off." He smile grew wider.

I stared at him for a while, not able to say anything then I ran as fast as I could the opposite derection.

I knew he was known for running incredibly fast, but what other choice did I have?

I didn't look back. I was way to scared to. I suddenly tripped on a large tree root and cut my knee. No, not the girl trips over something while running away from a killer cliche!

I screamed not in pain, but in anger and fear. It can't end this way! I had so many questions. Tears steamed uncontrollably down my face as I turned around and saw him approach me.

"Wow you're a pretty good runner."

"Just get this over with you sick bastard!" I shouted.

He started to laugh maliciously. "I'm just playing with ya. Besides I wanna see where your love story with BEN goes.

I gave him a death stare and got up. I realized my knee was gushing blood, but really was too angry to care. I pushed past him and trudged back to the apartment.

I could still feel tears falling off my face as I walked inside. I saw Chris and BEN playing some video game when they saw me.

"Talia! What the hell happened to you?" BEN yelled.

"Jeff happened." I said heading to my room and slamming the door.

I wrapped my knee up and laid in my bed. I wiped the tears from my face when I heard a ding on my computer.
