Chapter 11

I hold onto Cassian's arm as we walk down the Magheru Street.

"Why these names here?" He asks.

"Oh, well all the streets from Unirii in this direction are with fighters from 1848."

"Oh really?"

"Yes!" I say and laugh a bit. Wait a second... "Cassian, what will my friends think about us?" My head hurts now, I don't know why.

"Jyn." He says and stops. "They'll have to respect your decision."

"I know, but Poe has a crush on me..." So I realised I have nothing on my head. Maiby that's why I'm feeling dizzy. August sun...

"Hey, calm down, I'll stay with you tonight if you want me to." He says as he places his hands on my shoulders.

"Okay." I'm feeling like dying. "Cassian..."

"Yeah?"

"I think I'm gonna throw up soon." I say.

"Wha-Why?" He stares at me. Then looks at my bare head "Oh. Then come on faster to the subway." He says and takes my hand. Why did I forget my cap at home?

As soon as we get to my place, we are still alone. They probably went to a mall or something like that. I turn on the air conditionater and sit on the couch. Cassian puts his hand on my forehead. "No sign of temperature yet. Want some ice?"

"Yes. In the refrigerator, third shelf from up to down." I say and he nods, then gets up and open the refrigerator. "Found it." He says and comed back to me, putting it on my forehead. He sits down on his knees so he is my level. His right hand gets on my cheek and his thumb rubs it slowly. I close my eyes and lean in. I totally forgot about the ice between our foreheads. I laugh and put it down. He smiles and we lean in again. His other hand is on my back and mine are around his neck. He kisses me and I feel like I'm going to scream of happiness. We don't realise the door opens until someone says: "Hey!" We turn our heads and see the hole gang in the door. Poe is behind Rey and he looks dissapointed, sad. What have I done?

"Jyn, can we talk for a second?" He says. I nod and wait for Cassian to let me some space to get up. He does and I walk with Poe to my room. He closes the door and gets to me again. "Why were you kissing him?"

"Poe, I-"

"I told you I love you!"

"But I don't feel the same!"

"Oh really? Then we did we kiss in my car? Why did you kiss my cheek? Jyn, I-"

"Poe I don't love you that way!" I scream at him. My head hurts and his eyes are watery know.

"Okay, fine, but if he leaves you for another star don't come to me crying!" He says and gets out the room. What did I do? Cassian gets into a hurry in my room and hugs me tightly. Tears start rolling down my cheeks.

It's late night, 1 a.m., and I'm on my bed hugging Cassian. As soon as we get money as salary, I'm going to get an appartment just for me and Cassian. Somewhere near subway. I can't stand leaving with all the band.

Cassian still rubs my back slowly. My hiccups fron crying still haven't stopped and I want to think that all of these love things with Poe never happend. Why do I cry? He was my best friend once. I got to know Rey in the 9th class. I know Poe from the 5th. Cassian breaks the hug and looks into my eyes. "Everything is going to be ok." He says and kisses my forehead. I close my eyes again and rest my head on his chest. I loved Poe that way.
