Stadium pt. 1

Chanyeol's POV

Why am I even following them?

I've been asking myself the same question for the hundredth time. I don't care if Nayeon is having a date with that Jungkook.

I look at Nayeon, she seems to be really enjoying while stuffing her mouth with different kinds of street food-

Wait. What the? Why the heck would he touch Nayeon's lips, even if he's just taking a dirt away from her lips he should've handed her a tissue instead, that pervert. Oh that girl must be really enjoying huh? Her face is getting all red for nothing. I should probably leave those two alone. I'm kind of getting sick by just watching them.

1 hour later

I found myself still following them, Jungkook finally brings Nayeon to the bus station. There's a smile plastered across his face when the bus already went ahead. He was happily walking away with his hands inside his pockets. Is he that happy by just having a date with that ugly bunny? Whatever they look pathetic. Those two are perfect for each other.

I grip the hand clutch hard and followed the bus.

I'm glad that she arrived at her home safely.

I let out a sigh of relief-

Wait what did I just say? I am not concerned if she goes home safely or not.

I should probably go home, that Nayeon aish.

It's probably guilt that is driving me to do these kind of things. I shouldn't have said those mean things to her by the time we were in the gym. I just can't help myself but to get annoyed about the fact that she still want to be around that Kris even if he did nothing but cause her pain.

Even something's troubling me, when I got home, I went to bed right away.

The next morning I am on my way to school when I passed by Jungkook and Nayeon walking together. Again.

Why is she hanging out with that Jungkook? They're not even close back then, anyways it's none of my business.

Nayeon's POV

Crap it's music class, remembering the argument I had with Chanyeol in the gym yesterday, I mentally slap myself. How could I possibly forget that I'm in the same group as him.

"Okay class, go to your groups." Ma'am Lisa said to us, "I'll be right here checking your homeworks so if you need something, just ask me."

"Yes ma'am." We said in unison.

I slowly went to our group and sit beside Jihyo.

"Nayeon~"

"Yeah glad that we're in the same group."

"Same."

"What are we going to do?" Chanyeol asks no one in particular.

"I have an idea, why don't we do the medley type? Well it's just a suggestion, okay." Doyeon said shrugging.

"That's a nice idea, so what are the songs you think that will be nice."

"The songs should be lively hmm how about TT?" I suggested.

"Okay we'll add that, we need at least 2 more songs." Chanyeol said but he didn't even look at me.

"I suggest whistle, it's a catchy song like TT." Jungkook suggested.

"Any objections about his suggestion?" Chanyeol said asking the others.

What the? Why is he like that towards Jungkook?

"None." I said along with the others.

"None? Okay we'll add that."

"I suggest monster for the last spot." Kyungsoo said quite embarrassed for suggesting their own song, well I didn't get embarrassed when I did the same.

Chanyeol smiles widely, "Well if the others approve, I wouldn't mind."

"Of course, we should add that, right guys?" Jihyo said supporting Kyungsoo.

We nod.

"Now we have picked the songs, how will we sing them?" I ask no one in particular.

Once again Chanyeol answers me but he was just looking at the others, "I suggest that the song should be sang by twos, we only have 4 days, it's easier that way."

"I agree." I said thoughtfully,"First let's sing the chorus part of TT, then let's vote who's going to sing that."

We all tried, then Jungkook and I got the most votes so we'll be partners, we gave each other high five. Then the remaining four sang the chorus of Whistle one by one, we selected Kyungsoo and Jihyo for the song. Chanyeol and Doyeon will sing the monster together, they tried to sing the chorus, and they did well.

We started practicing our parts with our partners, then after an hour, Ma'am Lisa dismissed us.

Man, singing made me hungry, I want to eat already but there are still 2 classes to go.

I pout.

Jihyo noticed it and pokes me, "Nayeon what's the matter?"

"I'm hungry..."

Jihyo shakes her head at me while smiling, "Thank my mom, she insisted on putting cupcakes inside my lunchbox this morning." She said.

She got them from her lunchbox, and then handing the two cupcakes to me.

"You have bottled water in your bag right?" She asked

"Yes mom." I said gratefully.

"Yah! I'm too young to be a mother."

"But you always act as a good mother to us. Thank you Jihyo, saranghaeyo~" I said hugging Jihyo.

"Yah! Fine fine welcome. I can't breathe, just eat quickly Nayeon, Ma'am Jisoo might catch you."

I nod while giving the cupcake a bite.

On the next following days, we kept practicing until the day of the final performance in Music, all of the six groups gave their best.

The group of Sana did a medley of faithfully, journey and don't stop believing. The second group, Somi's sang drop. Momo's group did the mash up of boy in luv and growl. Dahyun's group sang please don't say you love me and I was made for loving you, Chaeyoung's sang innocent/ first love, while my group did the medley of Whistle, TT, and monster.

"You guys really worked hard, you did well." Ma'am Lisa said while clapping her hands, "Let me finish my evaluation so I can announce the scores."

I'm kind of nervous, I wish our team will win. I really want to perform in the event.

"Group 1, Sana's got 95, Somi's group got 96, Momo's group got 95, Dahyun's group got 94, Chaeyoung's got 93, and Jihyo's got 97. Congratulations group 6!"

"Omo!"

"We got the highest score."

Our group began hugging each other, it was too late when I realized that it was Chanyeol whom I was hugging with. Both of our eyes went wide, and we quickly pushed ourselves away from each other.

Ba-dump ba-dump ba-dump

I just hugged Chanyeol but why does it feel so weirdly nice? I shake my head, and then I put my hands on my chest, dear heart can you please calm down.
