Nayeon's POV

"Nayeon?"

"K-kris, what is it?"

Shuck it why did I freaking stutter.

"Can we talk?"

Crap

I forgot the lunchbox that I need to hand Chanyeol. Why did I suddenly remember it or him when I saw Kris?

Kris is asking me something but my focus is on the lunchbox that my mother told me to hand to Chanyeol.

"Nayeon?"

"Ah yes what is it?"

"About what happened between us back then, I just wanted to apologize for being an asshole..."

"It's fine Kris, really, and besides it's been 5 months. I've already moved on."

I kind of meant it, it just hurts sometimes.

"You've already moved on? I see, good for you." There's sudden change in his voice but he was quick to shrug it off, "Thanks Nayeon, I want us to start as friends."

I can't help it but to laugh at his proposal, "Sounds nice, I'm okay with it. So friends?" I said then smiled at him, and showing him proudly that I'm over him. I offer him my hand and then he takes it to shake it. I don't know if I'm really okay with it or I am just being sarcastic.

"Thank you Nayeon."

"Is that all? I mean, not to be rude, but I need to do something."

"Ah sorry for disturbing you but I have one more thing to say. I've been late for 5 consecutive days, so Ma'am Rosé punished me community service she also told me that I'm going to do it with you because you missed your punishment due to illness."

"Yeah right, when do we need to start?"

"Starting today, after class, up until next week, are you really not feeling sick anymore?"

"I'm not, just meet me after class, okay?" I said running back to our classroom.

I heard him mumble. "Okay."

When I entered the classroom I got the lunchbox, but he's nowhere to be seen inside, "Excuse me, Minseok?"

"Yes, Nayeon?"

"Have you seen Chanyeol?"

"I'm with him recently, just minutes ago, we even saw you talking to Kris."

What?

"Oh okay, I'm just gonna look for him. Thanks"

"No problem." He said giving me a smile.

I looked around the campus, I even checked the clinic but he's not there, when I passed by the gymnasium, I heard the dribbling of a ball so I went up to check it and saw him lying on the floor.

I went to him quietly and shouted "Chanyeol!!!" in his hears, he was really shocked that he began punching the air, it's like he is picking a fight with the air, I sat beside him while laughing at his annoyed expression, "You always get surprised easily Chanyeol."

"Whatever Nayaeon, what are you doing here? I'm not in the mood to see an ugly bunny."

"Tss I don't want to see a camel too but I don't have a choice, my mother wants to show gratitude for... you know what. Here." I said handing him the lunchbox, "And I-I just wanted to say thanks for bringing me home that night and for taking care of me. That's all." I said, I'm so embarrassed that I decided to run away not even waiting for his reply.
