"Yes eomma?"

"Hand this to Chanyeol, okay? It's a token of gratitude for bringing you home safely and for staying to take care of you."

"What? He stayed?"

"Yes, the rain was still pouring hard that time so I told him to stay until dinner. He insisted to take care of you while I was cooking for dinner, and fortunately, after we ate, the rain had subsided."

"H-he took care of me? Unbelievable." Nayeon said looking at her mom incredulously. Seems like I owe him a lot.

"Bye eomma!"

"Bye Nayeon, take care, okay? Focus well on your studies."

"Of course, aja fighting!" Nayeon said hugging her mom.

Nayeon is on the way to school, when she remembered what happened 3 days ago, and she just can't help herself but to blush. She slaps her face and shakes her head fast, "Why are you even thinking about it Nayeon." She scolded herself but she can't get off her mind the scene where they were riding on his motorcycle and her back is pressed tightly against his chest.

"What was that?" She asked herself clutching the fabric by her chest, she shakes her head again and tried to stretch. She winces, her body still feels sore but she can't afford another staycation at home, she needed to catch up with the lessons and homeworks she missed.

But even if I attend math class, I still don't get lessons, what's the freaking use, that subject is so complicated or I am just lazy. She said to herself pouting. I'm okay with the other subjects as long as they're not science or math.

"Why are you pouting early in the morning Nayeon?"

Nayeon searched the source of the voice and was surprised to see Jungkook, her classmate, grinning at her.

Shoot, he will probably think I'm insane. Nayeon thought to herself.

"Didn't notice you."

"I'm good at being silent."

"Ah right."

"Why are you absent for the past two days?"

"I'm not feeling well."

"I see."

We're not that close, what should I say next?

"So where are you going?"

"To our classroom probably."

Nayeon mentally slapped herself. Why would she even ask such a question to her classmate.

"Hehe I thought you're going to the restroom before heading to our classroom." She said scratching her nape.

Jungkook laughs, "You're so funny Nayeon."

"Is that a compliment or what?" Nayeon said raising an eyebrow.

"Take it as a compliment." He said putting his hands inside his pockets, "Let's hurry up we might be late."

Nayeon managed to nod while catching up to Jungkook's pace.

When they entered the classroom, their classmates are looking at them.

"Oi Nayeon!" Jihyo said rushing to hug her. The rest of the twice joined them.

"You're here!" Momo said excitedly.

"No I'm not." Nayeon said sarcastically and she received a smack on the head from Momo.

"That hurts!" Nayeon said pouting.
