"What's up, Boss?" Skye said as she waltzed in to the briefing room.

"Hydra," he said gravely and Skye's smile fell. "They left this." He pulled up a picture on the screen of a large building with fire of the roof spelling out 'send shield'. "I sent in a few agents to see what the deal was and they were all killed, but not before sending word that Hydra had at least 20 Inhumans with them."

"Hydra wants us to come and...fight them," Skye nodded. "What do you want us to do, AC?"

Coulson shrugged and sighed. "It's our duty to go in and try to take them down, once and for all. We're going to need all hands on deck for this. I've already called in the Avengers and any agents we have nearby, plus I'll need every one of you out there as well."

"Even Simmons and me?" Fitz asked from the back.

Coulson nodded. "We'll get you icers, but yes."

Fitz nodded as Coulson continued briefing them on the situation. He finally finished up and said, "grab everything you need, we take off in 20."

The team all hummed in agreement before dispersing. Ward walked up to Fitz and Simmons, who were looking at the icers warily. "You guys designed them, you know how to use them better than any of us do."

"That doesn't mean that we're not terrified," Simmons spoke up.

"Fear keeps you alive," Ward tried reassuring them. "You two have been braver than many of us on multiple occasions. You've got this."

Simmons shot a grateful look towards Ward. "Thank you," she said sincerely.

He nodded. "Any time, Simmons." He rested a hand on Fitz' shoulder reassuringly as he walked away to grab his gear.

They had a job to do.

Katrina took a deep breath before turning to Lincoln. "Be careful out there."

"It's me," Lincoln shrugged and smirked.

"That doesn't reassure me at all," she playfully rolled her eyes.

"Hey!"

"I'm kidding," she laughed. She pressed a soft, lingering kiss to his cheek before whispering, "stay safe out there."

He rested his forehead against hers. "Always."

They then walked down the platform of the helicopter and towards the rest of the team and the Hydra base.

"Plan of attack?" Ward looked at Coulson.

Coulson sighed. "Don't die."

"I like that plan," Skye nodded vigorously.

"Can't you just start an earthquake and have the whole base sink into a hole?" Ward cast a glance at Skye.

Skye rolled her eyes. "Yeah, if I wanted all the news sites to know about this. We're trying to keep everyone calm about Hydra, Ward."

"I'm just saying that it would be easier," he retorted.

"Chill," she rolled her eyes.

"Impossible," he held out a ball of flames in his hand.

"Let's do this," May interrupted the pair's bickering as she marched towards the building.

The rest of the team soon followed suit. "We should split up," Coulson announced before they kicked down the doors. "Divide and conquer," he explained his reasoning. "I don't want any of them left."
