Chapter 13

ONE MONTH LATER.........

(Shannon's side of the story)

Well it's been a month since Harry left, the first week was pretty tough i mean it's not like I've not lived life without Harry but....I know this sounds cheesy but my heart was burning.... but afterwards everything went back to normal. Two days after Harry left Dan was discharged from the hospital and we went home but Dan wasn't too excited about his new house, Dan took it the hardest he refused to eat or believe that Harry was gone but Harry called Dan and straightened things out with him and now Dan is always the first to bring my phone early in the morning to call to call Harry,I guess Dan really loves Harry the two of them shared this special connection I mean yeah... they're father and son, but I also see that Dan keeps Harry like a hero or an elder brother a person he knows he can come to for any reason and he knows that Harry would never let him down. Life was going well with Dan back home he ate more which was a huge relief. Ricky had some work in LA for a month so Amy came to stay with the two of us. Life for those days consisted of us getting up in the morning and going to the beach and then coming back home and finishing up any work going to the park with Dan and letting him have his fun and coming home and eating dinner on the hammocks by the beach. Dan usually met his day care friend Lucy at the park but I was speaking to her mom and I found out that Lucy was going to leave New York and move to California Dan was pretty sad since he liked her (what I meant was they were like best friends) and all but he grew to learn to make the best of the little time he had with her. He really was a gentleman but a tiny one, he protected Lucy from these boys in the sand pit who started throwing sand at her and made her cry, he didn't exactly fight them he just came over took Lucy's hand and walked away which I was proud of. Since Dan was growing older I realized his hair seemed to be bothering him and it started growing a little too long...so I got it cut, but not too short he still had hair like Harry's but a bit shorter I was sad to see the cute curls go but I knew it made him uncomfortable and I knew it would all grow back again. On the other hand I also concentrated on my work, the premier of the movie was moved to February 2014 so I had more time to work on my songs but I still was determined to work hard and make Ashley not regret her decision so some nights I would leave Dan with Amy while I worked till late. Everything was going great until one morning where things took a slight turn....okay maybe a HUGE turn in situations.......

It all started when I woke up for work and went down for breakfast, "here Shannon eat this I made us all breakfast" said Amy smiling and handing me a sunny side up egg and a piece of bacon to make it a smiley face. I shook my head and a made disgusted face and Amy's smile dropped "what's wrong does it smell weird or look disgusting or something" I shook my head and made the biggest apologetic face I could "no...no it's not bad at all it's just that- oh God" I said as I pushed past Amy and ran to the guest toilet which was down stairs and started gagging "Shannon what's wrong" said Amy coming in and holding my hair back and stroking my back "I.....I don't know-" and I puked... I felt so disgusting and I felt sorry for Amy having to see me puke early in the morning. "okay it's okay c'mon slowly get up" said Amy lifting me up firmly but gently. I moaned loudly "I can't be like this Harry's coming in two weeks he can't see me sick... I have so much to do before he comes back" I said turning the tap on and cleaning myself. Then the two of us went upstairs and I went to my room and started brushing my teeth "did you just start feeling sick?" asked Amy picking out new clothes for me "bbrinkmvn kjefnorhnk hfrhgnfqpitptj grnkeb!!!!!" I screamed while brushing my teeth Amy just laughed "maybe you should first finish brushing your teeth because none of that made any sense" I exhaled and finished brushing and wiped my face with a towel. "sorry...no it's been happening since like 6.00am I've been puking and gagging and my head feels like someones been hitting it with a hammer. I can't eat anything but I have a strange urge it eat chocolate but the last time this happened to me was like the first month I was pregnant with Dan" I said taking my change of clothes and heading to the toilet to change. Amy gasped and started giggling "I think I know why this is happening" she said starting to get really excited "what? Tell me AMY!!!! did I eat something? should I go to a doctor?" she hook her "maybe be later but I think you are....pfft...pfft.." she started laughing "WHAT!!! TELL ME!!!!"  I demanded she kept gigging then walked closer to me and looked at my stomach, I got what she was thinking "no....no this can't be happening.......how can that happen?" I said feeling my temples, Amy laughed and touched my face "want me to tell you how it happens" she said winking I took my face away "eeewww no we.....we...never even...NO WAIT!!!...oh no...oh no....CRAP!!"  I said remembering the night he proposed it made sense I really was pregnant AGAIN!!!!  "oh remembered something Shannon.... well?...." she said having possibly one of the most evil smiles I had ever witnessed "okay....okay....there's no need to panic everything is going to be alright" I said inhaling and exhaling as slow as I could "so sorry Shannon but I don't seem to be the one panicking and I don't see why you should be, this is great news" she said hugging me which calmed me down "I'm having a baby Amy I'M HAVING A BABY!!!!!"  I screamed Amy squealed in excitement too, then Dan came walking in rubbing his sleepy eyes I think the two of us screaming woke him up. I ran up to him and carrying him and placed him on my hip and twirled I guess I was really happy and attacked him with kisses and Dan giggled "mommy...mommy ENOUGH!!"  he screamed I guess he was really confused I put him down and made him have a wash and then I realized how was I going to tell Harry??
