"Mia sit down!" I exclaimed to the three year old that was on a sugar high. Whoever gave her that juice is dead! I reached out and grabbed my daughter by the arm to make her stop running in circles. Even though she had just started to run and she wasn't fast at all I was getting dizzy.
"Look Mia, this is a dress shop for Aunty Michelle's wedding. You need to act mature or there is going to have to be a different flower girl." I told her to make her calm down.
"But mommy yous can't dos that." She whimpered sticking her bottom lip out.
I gave her a pointed look and she sat down on the floor next to my feet. Michelle was trying on a dress and I was sitting with Mia waiting. Michelle came out with no dress on.
"What? Where is the dress?" I asked.
"I didn't like it, lets do this another day. I really don't want to right now." I nodded and we walked out of the dress shop. Michelle had decided she didn't want to wait to get out of college before getting married so she's doing it next year. She wanted to look at some dresses just to be ready for when the time comes. I leaned down and picked up Mia to follow Michelle out of the store. When we got to my car I put Mia in her car seat then got in the drivers seat to drive us all home.
"Mommy! hungry!" I looked at Mia from the mirror and laughed.
"Babe well be home soon, daddy is making something to eat so when we get home you can have some food." I told her as we started the fifteen minuet drive home.
"So Michelle, why did you decide that you wanted to get married early?" I asked turning down a street.
She smiled. "Because after seeing Mia and how good a mom you are we really want kids soon. I didn't want to have them before we got married though. No offence."
"None taken don't worry, and yeah having a kid is great and I wouldn't want to take back the chance at having Mia but know that there is more to it then what you guys just see." I told her making sure she would know the down sides to having a kid early.
"We know that. We had talks about those times." I nodded and turned on the music. The song Feedback came on. I heard Mia in the back round trying to sing to the song but she had no clue how the words went. I smiled and Michelle screeched at how cute she was being.
When we got home I helped Mia out of the car and then walked up the house steps. We still lived all together, Mia had taken Michelle's room when she moved in with Aiden. Carter and I have found a house though that we will be moving into in a few months after were done fixing it up and everything. Michelle opened the door to the house and we all moved into the living room. I out down my purse on the couch and watched as Mia walked into the kitchen for her father. Michelle sat down on the couch and I sat next to her.
"So how have ya been?" I asked kicking my shoes off and throwing them by the door.
"Good, why are you asking?" She wanted to know.
I shrugged. "You just seem stressed."
"I'm fine. Just hungry, lets go inside and have some food." I nodded and we got up and walked to the kitchen. When we entered I saw that Carter and my daughter wee in a heated argument.
"No! Elephants are pink!" She yelled stomping her feat. I hid a giggle at how mad she looked.
"Babe, there gray." Carter tried to calm her. He just seemed to make her agitated.
"Nuhuh, in the book mommy read me they pink!" She told him like he should have known that.
Carter smiled at her and tucked some of her dirty blond hair behind her ear. "honey those are book, a real elephant is gray." Mia pouted and made a noise indicating that she was not happy. She then stomped over to a chair and wiggled onto it.
