Missing

I woke up on a Saturday morning. I was in Carters arms and he was sleeping peacefully. I turned over to face him and brushed my hand over his cheek. He stirred and lifted his eyes slowly. I smiled as he started tightening his arms around my waist.

"You should go back to sleep." I told him knowing that he was really tired from work and schooling. He shrugged and closed his eyes.

"I don't know." He mumbled.

I reached up and kissed his cheek. "Sleep, you need it. I'm sure Mia will come in later and force you up anyway to watch blues clues again." His eyes opened and he glared.

"If I have to sit through another hour of that show I will kill that blue dog." He told me seriously.

I shook my head and wrapped more of the covers around me from being cold. "Be nice and don't say that in front of that baby, she loves that dog." I commented knowing that it would send her into a fit of tears.

He nodded. "Go sleep more, I'll check on the little one." I kissed his cheek and then got out of the bed. I was wearing a tang top and pajama pants. I put my hair into a messy bun then walked out of my room closing the door. I heard voices coming from down the hall and I followed the voices. When I got in front of Gavin's room I saw him trying to sleep on his bed as Mia shook him.

"Uncle Gav! Up" She yelled. Gavin groaned and looked at Mia.

"Mia I am trying to sleep. I was out late last night doing my thing with the ladies, Cant you go bother your father." I laughed seeing Gavin with his hair all over the place with bloodshot eyes trying to get rid of Mia.

"Don't worry Gavin, I'll take her." I assured him walking in and grabbing hold of my daughter. "And watch what you say about the ladies in front of her." I laughed. He nodded and flipped back into a comfortable position on his bed.

Mia and I made our way downstairs and I brought her into the kitchen and sat her down on one of the chairs as I walked over to the cabinet and I started looking for her favorite cereal. When I found the fruit loops I grabbed them and then got out some milk and a bowl. Mia was sitting at her chair squirming.

"Mamma, music?" She asked looking back at me.

"Okay hold on." I walked to the radio and turned it onto a station. The song feedback started to play. Mia started to move a little in her chair bobbing her head. I smiled and then moved back to the counter and poured some milk and cereal into a bowl. Then I grabbed a spoon and put it into the bowl. Walking over to the table I placed the bowl in front of the little child. I ruffled her hair before she started to eat.

"Yeah that sexy, sexy, sexy." Michelle said as she walked into the room. She started to shake her butt and I laughed at her.

"Hey, did we wake you?" I asked. She shook her head.

"No Aiden did, he kicked my in the head. I don't even know how that was possible." She shook her head and sat next to Mia.

"Well my brother does have his ways." She nodded agreeing.

Michelle cleared her throat. "So where is Carter?"

I sat across from her. "He's in bed still. I told him to sleep because I know how tired he is."

"Oh that's nice of you. Hey, I was online the other day and came across something." She said smiling.

I raised my eyebrows waiting for her to continue." And that was?"

"Well I came across a Disney vacation." She exclaimed.

"Oh really?" I asked with a chuckle at her excitement.
