Yuri avoided his phone all day. He was scared of what he had done the night before. 'Why do you do these stupid things?!' he thought to himself.
He told Otabek he loved him.
He paced his room up and down and suddenly, his phone buzzed and he had to act. He picked up the phone and answered cautiously "Hello..."
"Hey Yuri, just wanted to know if you wanted to chat." Asked Otabek.
"How about... erm... you could come to my house at... 4" proposed Yuri.
"Sure! I'll see you then!"
Yuri hung up the phone and slumped to the floor.
By the time it hit 4, Yuri had rehearsed what he wanted to say in front of the mirror at least 200 times. There was a knock and he opened the door.
"Hi! Come in... erm... sit down" said Yuri awkwardly.
"Cool." Said Otabek walking into the room sand making himself comfortable.
"So... I need to tell you something erm... important." Yuri said with a serious tone. He hesitated for a moment and then began.
"I am a bit... gay." He whispered blankly. "Actually, let me re-phrase that, I am gay."
Yuris face turned to a rose as Otabek smiled down at him.
"I think I am too." Murmured Otabek. He slowly linked his hand with Yuris and moved closer than before.
They stayed like this for several minutes before someone spoke.
"I like your eyes." Said Yuri.
And then, he did something he never thought he could do; he leaned in and kissed Otabek. As their mouths collided, time stopped and it was only the two of them, the warm embrace was all they needed.
Sadly, they broke apart and Otabek gave Yuri a look of yes.
'Just a kiss' thought Yuri 'just a kiss...'
