Just a quick AU one shot of Bellamy and Clarke going to prom together.

Bellamy's POV.

I approached the door, and with a shaky hand I reached up to knock with what I hope was a confident force and not a nervous crackle. I took a step back and a deep breath in. Then out. And in. Then out again. Until finally, I saw the doorknob turn. The door swung open and standing in its place was her mom. She looked me up and down and I only stood there focusing on not shaking and trying to give Abby a confident smile. She appeared to have suppressed a small laugh with a cough and moved out of the doorway. I took a hesitant step inside her house. Finally, she appeared on the top of the staircase. I inhaled sharply at just how very beautiful she was. She slowly descended the staircase, careful not to slip in her red high heels. Her long curly blonde hair bounced with each step she took until she reached the bottom of the stair case. She walked toward me flashing a breathtaking, white smile. She extended her small, gentle arm for me to place the corsage on. After she pulled back her arm I said, "You look beautiful, Princess."

Clarke reached out to entwine our arms the way couples used to in the old black and white movies we watched together. "So do you." She finally spoke with a wavering voice. Well at least we were both nervous.

It took me forever to get the nerve to ask out the beautiful and kind hearted blonde who sat next to me in chemistry. Clarke always helped me when I had no clue what was going on and had pulled both our weight in labs without ever complaining or snitching on me to the teacher. At first I truly did not understand what the heck was going on in chemistry. Though as the year went on, I did eventually pick it up, Clarke is such a great teacher I couldn't not pick it up. But I never told her in fear she would stop explaining it and stop talking to me. Until finally, I asked her out to prom. I had made a fool of myself, but I got the girl. "Handsome, I mean," Clarke said a little too loudly and snapping me out of my thoughts. When she kept rambling on I realized I must've been staring with a perplexed look still on my face, "You're handsome, not beautiful. I'm beautiful, you're handsome. Well I mean I'm not beautiful, but you said-"

"Clarke," I said interrupting her beautifully horrible attempt to correct her comment. "Should we go or else we might miss prom." She smiled easily at my joke about her long and seemingly endless rambling.

"Yeah," she said blushing slightly, "let's go."

"Well, have fun you two." Abby said opening the door for us. It was my turn to blush, I'd totally forgotten Abby was there. Whenever I looked into Clarke's eyes it's like the rest of the world falls away and it's just the two of us.

"Ready?" I asked her, opening the passenger side door of my car for her.

"Yeah." Clarke said smiling mischievously and kissing me slowly and deliberately on the check before getting into my car and closing the door behind her. When she kissed me, every inch of my body burned and refused to move, as if paralyzed in pleasure. I smiled to myself and opened my own door.

"You're such a tease." I said laughing as I closed my door and turned the car on. Today was going to be a good day.
